Plane carrying Brazilian soccer team to Colombia crashes, 76 dead
A plane carrying 81 people, including a top Brazilian football team, has crashed on its approach to the city of Medellin[麦德林(哥伦比亚城市)] in Colombia.
Police say five people survived the crash but the rest of those on board died.
The chartered[1] aircraft[包机], flying from Brazil via Bolivia[玻利维亚], was carrying members of the Chapecoense* team.

The team was due to play in the final of the Copa Sudamericana[南美杯], against Medellin team Atletico Nacional[麦德林国民竞技(俱乐部)].
The first leg[2] of the final of the cup, South America's second most important club competition, was scheduled for Wednesday, but has now been suspended.

What happened?
The plane took off from Bolivia's Viru Viru airport[维鲁维鲁机场] at 6:18 p.m. local time, according to air controller Manuel Palamas.
Officials didn't specify what happened to the plane but did say that the wounded were being transported to assistance centers.
But images of the incident show what appear to be damaged parts of the plane.
The aviation department[民航部门]'s statement said that passengers belonged to a Brazilian soccer team called Chapecoense*.
Tattered[破裂的;破碎的] debris[碎片;残骸] emblazoned[3] with the club's logo was also photographed at the crash site.
