IP Webinar | Weixin Brand Protection Training for SMEs
In partnership with Weixin, China-Britain Business Council (“CBBC”) will launch a brand protection training webinar on Wednesday 26th August 2020, which will be the second session of CBBC’s online IP protection training series. The goal of this series is to improve online enforcement on E-commerce and social media platforms. This webinar will take place under the framework of the long-standing partnership between CBBC and Tencent, as well as the International Publishers Copyright Coalition in China (“IPCC”), a partnership which was confirmed in a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) on long-term cooperation regarding IP protection.
This webinar aims to support SMEs in utilising Weixin’s comprehensive brand protection system, which tackles IP infringements on the platform and protects the rights and interests of brand owners. We are delighted to invite Hansen Huang, JoJo Chen, Steven Lai and Emma Jiang from Weixin Legal Centre to lead this webinar and introduce how Weixin’s Brand Protection mechanism runs and how Weixin can help SMEs protect their IP rights in a more efficient way.
