The Department for International Trade ("DIT") and the China Britain Business Council ("CBBC") are delighted to invite you to UK-China Emerging Collaboration Opportunities in Oil and Gas webinar. The webinar will focus on the UK and China’s evolving hydrogen economies and the role that the traditional oil and gas sector is playing in this transformation. Our expert speakers from the UK and China, will present on developments in this sector, and the commercial opportunities to collaborate in the UK, China and in other markets. The webinar is scheduled to tie in with CIPPE, the 12th Shanghai International Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition, with an aligned emphasis on hydrogen and the downstream sector, including in the petrochemicals industry.

Mark is a specialist advisor to the British Government’s Department for International Trade, working with corporations around the world who have an interest in developing business with the UK’s energy and advanced engineering sectors.

Previously, Mark worked in corporate R&D and international business development for over 25 years with positions at BP as director of new technology, Boeing advanced projects manager, and Dow Chemicals in future business projects as well as management consulting in the USA and Europe.

Mark is also founder and CEO of Harrogate Partners Ltd, which applies experience and investment resources to solve today’s business challenges of growth and innovation. Mark has a physics PHD from UCLA in the USA and a BSc in Material Science.

马克是英国国际贸易部的专家顾问。担任专家顾问期间，马克联络世界各地有兴趣与英国能源和先进工程行业发展业务的公司并开展合作。

Mr HUANG is the Technical Expert and Senior Engineer at PetroChina Petrochemical Research Institute. He has long been engaged in decision-support research in the field of refining, chemical industry and new energy, and has undertaken more than 10 research projects for decision support for PetroChina. He has published over 50 academic papers and participated in the publishing of 8 monographs. He is also a member of the Coal Chemistry Committee in Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China ("CIESC").

Sam currently works in Business Development at Johnson Matthey, leading the development of the strategy and programme for Low Carbon Hydrogen.

Previous roles at Johnson Matthey include Technology Manager for the steam reforming catalyst and technology R&D team. After moving from R&D into Business Development, he was tasked with developing a portfolio of new opportunities for processes from new feedstocks, such as biomass, waste and renewable energy. Sam represents JM on the Hydrogen Council Executive Group, as well as a number of other organisations focused on solutions to decarbonisation.

Legend Yi has over two decades of Renewable energy experience which cover Wind, Solar, & Energy Storage: with strong experience in general management, technology, sales & marketing, business development, project management, in various sectors.

Prior to his current position, Legend served as Vice President at Hengtong EPC renewable energy department. Previously, he held various leadership position in GE, Vestas, A123.

Legend earned a bachelor degree in Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, and a MBA from Norway Management School, and also attend executive training program in GE, he is a certified PMP.

弋利军拥有超过20年的可再生能源经验，涵盖风能、太阳能和储能领域，在综合管理、技术、销售和营销、业务开发、项目管理等各个领域具有丰富的经验。曾担任过Vestas技术总经理，GE亚太技术总监，亨通集团EPC可再生能源部副总裁。并在A123担任过市场销售总监职务。弋利军毕业于哈尔滨工业大学获得工程学士学位，在挪威管理学院获得工商管理硕士学位，还参加了通用电气的高管培训课程，他是一名经过认证的PMP。
