大暑是二十四节气的第十二个节气，也是夏季最后一个节气。在这一天里，太阳到达黄经120°，北斗七星斗柄指向天干“未”的位置。“暑”是炎热的意思，大暑，指炎热之极，“湿热交蒸”在此时到达顶点。
Major Heat (Chinese: 大暑) is the 12th solar term of the year and the last one of summer. When the sun reaches the celestial longitude of 120°, the Major Heat period starts. Major Heat signals the peak of the heat, and it's the muggiest period of the year.
在七月的尾巴上，大暑是一个特别的时节。中考、高考、毕业……几乎所有成年前后的重大人生转折，都发生在这段时间。年轻的我们，总在夏天结束时，开启更热烈的未来。
Falling at the end of July, Major Heat is a special period. Senior high school entrance examination, college entrance examination, graduation...
