Kids have never been so excited to go back to school. On Apr 27, Beijing high school seniors were finally allowed back on campus followed by Grade 9 students on May 11. Following a set of strict government-mandated procedures, schools across the city are slowly getting back to normal, after months of e-learning at home.
“I love my kids, but I’m so happy to have them out of the house” a
Beijing mom tells us. And can anyone blame her? This has been a
stressful few months for everyone. But it’s not just parents who welcome
the change: kids are thrilled to be able to get a sense of normalcy
back in their lives once again.
