Read-A-Story Video Campaign Goes Live: Reading Volunteers Wanted

Last weekend, we launched our Read-A-Story Video Campaign to encourage young readers to read aloud their favorite stories. Since then, we have already started to receive videos from parents who are proud to showcase their kids' reading skills. Thank you so much for your support and participation in our campaign!

Today we are proud to present Dominic Chan who is almost 7 years old, reading the story "I love my white shoes" from the Pete The Cat series.

One of the reasons we launched this campaign is due to Power Baseball Angels, a local charity and recipent of our book drive last year. After we sent our readers' generous donations of English books to the school in 2021, we wanted to go a step further and get volunteers to visit the school to read those books to the children. However, this was not possible all year long due to Covid restrictions.

Happily, we have received an update from Power Baseball Angels that they are open to receiving visitors now! Thus, we are organizing our first group of volunteers to pay a visit to the school in Tong Zhou district.
