A group of misbehaving Chinese tourists have been fined after being spotted chasing down a herd of Tibetan antelope, trying to take some sweet pictures.

Due to poaching, Tibetan antelopes have become endangered and could have become even more so thanks to this group of selfish tourists. A Tibetan forestry official told CCTV that the tourists had entered the restricted area of a Tibetan nature reserve last Wednesday, on the hunt for antelopes to photograph.

The tourists chased the antelope for more than a minute in a pair of off-road vehicles, something that could have led to the animals' death by exhaustion, the official said. Afterward, rangers checked the area and found no injured or dead antelope.

For their actions, the seven tourists were fined 15,000 yuan each for a grand total of 105,000 yuan in fines.
