Yuge Trump-inspired dog statue unveiled outside shopping mall

Last year, a shopping mall in Taiyuan unveiled a sculpture of Donald Trump as a rooster, which ended up a fitting mascot for the Year of the Cock. Here’s what they’ve come up with for the Year of the Dog.

Under the Chinese zodiac, Trump is in fact a dog. More specifically, since he was born in 1946, he’s a “fire dog” — characterized as being “intelligent, hardworking, and sincere”… we’re starting to think that this kind of thing isn’t always 100% accurate.

It’s not clear if Trump Dog will achieve the same heights of popularity as did Trump Rooster.

Which ended up being mass produced by Chinese companies to help people ring in the lunar new year in a bigly way.

And even popped up outside of the White House in August as a visual form of protest.

Btw, next comes the Year of the Pig. Gives us something to look forward to.
