A female passenger on a domestic flight in China has been exposed online for refusing to take her bare feet off of her tray table, despite being asked to do so multiple times by fellow travelers and flight attendants.

The auntie was traveling on Sunday from Nanning to Harbin on a China Southern Airlines flight. During the long flight, she decided to relax and take a nap, putting her bare feet up on the tray table in front of her, much to the disgust of other passengers. Meanwhile, her companion sitting beside her followed suit, though opting to leave her socks on.

According to a passenger who shot video of the scene and uploaded it online,  the two women argued with other passengers and flight attendants about that their style of seating, claiming that they could not adjust their position because they had both hurt their feet while practicing ballet.

The two even went so far as to accuse other passengers of not having enough compassion.

After getting off the plane, a number of passengers left their phone numbers and WeChat account IDs with airline staff, expressing their willingness to cooperate in an investigation. China Southern Airlines has confirmed to reporters that it will investigate the complaints.

On Weibo, Chinese netizens have called for the two women to be blacklisted or for their social credit scores to take some big hits, preventing them from getting back on a plane in the foreseeable future.
