Junior Research Associate – M&A

职位描述

The Junior Research Associate will be responsible for researching and gathering data related to global mergers & acquisitions, through a combination of (a) research of online sources, and (b) some email interaction with banks and other financial market participants. Data entry and validation, as well as assisting Dealogic’s global client base with understanding said data are also key elements of the role. (*More qualified candidates may be considered for senior positions.)

Research & Data Gathering

Capture M&A deal information from news services, publications, press releases, stock exchange filings and internal communications in a timely manner

Data Entry & Validation

1. Input deal, company, industry and financial data for most M&A deals

2. Conduct end-of-day and end-of-quarter procedural data checks

3. Work on time-sensitive historical and current data projects

Data Reconciliation

Conduct regular advisory tombstone checks

职位要求

1. 1-3 years of experience in professional environment

2. High school diploma or equivalent; Fresh graduate / career starter welcomed

3. Good spoken and written English; Excellent reading comprehension of written Chinese

4. Good communication and interpersonal skills

5. Good organization skills and time management

6. Ability to understand how businesses operate

7. Ability to understand news articles, press releases, company filings and other regulatory announcements

8. Ability to work independently and under pressure

9. Ability to collaborate with colleagues in local and overseas offices

10. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Proactive approach to work

11. Keen to learn with inquisitive nature and strong interest in financial markets

12. Strong work ethic

13. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
