From YCIS to UCL: An Alumnus's Journey 一个校友的旅程

In this special edition of Student Blogs, Yew Chung International School of Beijing alumnus and current student at University College London, Russell Ng, shares the story of his life since graduation. A member of the 2015 graduating class, Russell spent two years in the Singaporean military before beginning his university life.  

在这一期学生博客里，北京耀中国际学校校友Russell Ng将和大家分享他毕业后的故事。Russell毕业于2015年，毕业后回新加坡参加了两年的军训，目前就读于英国伦敦大学学院。

As Russell settles into his new life in London, he shares with current YCIS Beijing students the experience of his gap years in the military, the demands of a university workload, and what students can expect when they begin their own post-graduation journeys. He also shares a tip for one of the best (and most unexpected!) ways that students can prepare for the rigours of university life.

现在Russell在伦敦开始了他的新生活，他将和大家分享他在他的间隔年参加军训的故事，大学学习的和工作的需求，毕业之旅等。他还和大家分享保持大学生活活力的最佳秘诀！

After joining as a student in Year 8, Russell spent five years at YCIS Beijing before graduating in 2015. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Singaporean Armed Forces for two meaningful years before joining University College London, where he now reads History, Politics, and Economics.

Russell在他八年级的时候加入了北京耀中国际学校，毕业于2015年。毕业后，他前往新加坡军队服役两年。随后前往英国伦敦大学学院，修读历史、政治与经济。
