Student Blog: Zach Conquers Skills Week 初中部技能学习周

As the start of the school year is now underway, it’s time to resume our Student Blog series in which we learn more about the YCIS Beijing community through the eyes of our most important members – our students.  

新学年伊始，学生博客重新开始，是时候让我们，通过学校最重要的成员——学生，来了解更多有关耀中社区的故事。

This week, we take a look at Lower Secondary Skills with Year 7 student, Zach Engler.  New to YCIS though not to Beijing – he moved from Key Largo, Florida two years ago with his family – Zach speaks of his first impressions of his new school, of the difficulties that come with the transition from Primary to Secondary, and how Lower Secondary Skills Week has helped him prepare to meet these new challenges head on.

这一周，我们来看看初中部七年级的新学生Zach Engler的生活。两年前，他随他的爸爸妈从美国佛罗里达州来到北京。Zach聊起他对新学校的印象，谈起他从小学过渡到中学所遇到的困难，谈起耀中的技能学习周如何帮助他面对新的挑战。
