上周五晚，LiveChinaMusic在育音堂迎来杭州的浪味仙贝乐队与武汉的Silly Function乐队这两颗独立流行乐坛新星，为我们带来了一场难忘的音乐盛宴。我一直都很喜欢这两支乐队，想要为他们主办演出；因此这次能在同一夜目睹他们同台，确实是一种幸运！两队联袂带来了一场充满活力的流行摇滚盛会，不仅呈上粉丝们耳熟能详的经典曲目，也有全新的创作呈现。

自2017年我首次涉足武汉，我就为浪味仙贝那种低保真而又充满活力的独立流行风格深深吸引。他们的音乐自带一种率真的脆弱和不羁，将轻盈的旋律和成熟的创作技巧完美融合，展现出一种难以言喻的青春魅力。

而自Silly Function《YOUTHLESS》中的主打之一《Stanley Should Be Happy》面世以来，我就迷上了他们的情绪噪音流行。他们的音乐能够恰到好处地触动到我——情感丰富、音乐张力十足，并蕴含着脆弱而又不拘一格的强烈能量。

那一晚宛如璀璨的烟火。再次感谢音乐人们、育音堂，以及所有前来支持的歌迷。

Last Friday, LiveChinaMusic welcomed two of the indie rock scene’s most propulsive indie pop acts - Hangzhou’s Lonely Cookies and Wuhan’s Silly Function - to Yuyintang. I’ve spent many years idly poking both bands - out of admiration and in an attempt to get them on one of our bills - so to get both of the acts on the same night was a stroke of good fortune. A power pop combo with each band going the extra mile in their sets - sharing fan favorites as well as fresh new material. 

Ever since my first visit to Wuhan back in 2017, I’ve been enamored with the lo-fi spunkiness that Lonely Cookies brings to their sound. It’s spry indie pop seemingly filtered through a ramshackle vulnerability that’s sincere above all else - giving its almost effortless (and deftly, even nonchalantly, crafted) melodies a layer of arrested development. 

Like many others I’ve been obsessed with Silly Function’s emo-laced noise pop since their ‘Tang Ping’ anthem ‘Stanley Should Be Happy’. Simply put, the band hits that sweet spot for me - emotionally fraught, wiry spry instrumentation, and a crackling energy that’s both vulnerable and defiant. 

A bottle rocket of an evening. Thanks once again to the bands, to Yuyintang, and the fans who came out to support.
