IB provides a comprehensive international education system for students around the world. It includes PYP,MYP,DP and CP. IB empowers students with confidence and ability, to reach further and be the best they can be. It challenges students to excel not only in their studies, but also in their personal growth; inspiring enthusiastic and driven lifelong learners. 


    

IB-PYP(Primary Years Programme)小学项目是当今世界公认的、培养精英学生的、高水平的国际小学项目。PYP的教育不仅仅是传统的书本教育,而是希望通过学习给学生提供一种整体化的学习体验,整合了社交情感身体锻炼以及感知认知等方面的综合教学与培养。在PYP的课堂上,这种学习体验发生在充满活力的环境中,促使孩子们去通过各种活动进行发现,进而自发的去探索知识。

PYP is the internationally recognized high-level program that fosters elite students. PYP aims to provide students with a holistic learning experience through learning, integrating social emotions, physical exercise, and cognitive training. In PYP classrooms, this learning experience takes place in a dynamic environment, prompting children to discover through activities that lead to spontaneous exploration of knowledge.


选择PYP课程的十大理由


PYP的教学需要寻求几个方面之间的平衡。这几个方面是:习得重要的知识与技能,发展对概念的理解,表现出积极的学习态度以及采取负责任的行动。为了达到上述几个方面的平衡,需要强调书面课程中的5大要素,即知识、概念、技能、态度、行动。

In the PYP a balance is sought between acquisition of essential knowledge and skills, development of conceptual understanding, demonstration of positive attitudes, and taking of responsible action. In terms of achieving this balance, the five essential elements of the written curriculum are emphasized. It includes knowledge, concepts, skills, attitudes, actions.



为什么将“态度“作为一大要素


在认识到知识、概念和技能的重要性的同时,我们还知道仅有这些还不足以造就具备国际情怀的人才。我们还必须重视培养学生对待他人、环境和学习的个人态度上。将态度目标融入PYP课堂,培养学生良好的学习习惯高尚的品格,鼓励他们树立正确的人生观和价值观,从而实现全面发展

While recognizing the importance of knowledge, concepts and skills, these alone do not make an internationally minded person. It is vital that there is also focus on the development of personal attitudes towards people, towards the environment and towards learning. Integrate attitude goals into PYP classes, cultivate students' good learning habits and noble characters, encouraging them to establish correct outlook on life and values, so as to achieve all-round development.



解读PYP注重培养的十二种态度
    01  欣赏  Appreciation

懂得欣赏大自然和人类的美与奇迹。

Appreciating the wonder and beauty of the world and its people.



    02 投入  Commitment

全身心投入自己的学习,有毅力、能自律、有责任感。

Being committed to their own learning, persevering and showing self-discipline and responsibility.



    03 自信  Confidence

作为学生,对自己的能力有信心,有勇气承担风险,积极应用自己所学的知识,作出恰当的决定和选择。

Feeling confident in their ability as learners, having the courage to take risks, applying what they have learned and making appropriate decisions and choices.



   04 合作  Cooperation

根据情况的需要,开展合作、担任领导或被领导的角色。

Cooperating,collaborating, and leading or following as the situation demands.



    05 创意  Creativity

在思考、解决问题和摆脱困境时,表现出创造力和想象力。

Being creative and imaginative in their thinking and in their approach to problems and dilemmas.



    06好奇心  Curiosity

对学习、世界、人类与文化的本质保持好奇。

Being curious about the nature of learning, about the world, its people andcultures.



    07同理心  Empathy

设身处地理解他人的道理和情感,从而成为心胸宽广、能够反思他人观点的人。

Imagining themselves in another’s situation in order to understand his or her reasoning and emotions, so as to be open-minded and reflective about the perspectives of others.




    08 热诚   Enthusiasm

热爱和享受学习,在学习的过程中愿意竭尽全力。

Enjoying learning and willingly putting the effort into the process.



   09独立性  Independence

独立思考与行动,根据合理的论据做出自己的判断,并能够捍卫自己的判断。

Thinking and acting independently, making their own judgments based on reasoned argument, and being able to defend their judgments.



    10 正直  Integrity

为人处事诚实,显示出深思熟虑的公正感。

    11   尊重  Respect

尊重自己、他人和周围的世界。

Respecting themselves, others and the world around them.



    12  宽容  Tolerance

同情和理解世间存在的各种差异与多样性,积极回应他人的需要。

Being sensitive about differences and diversity in the world and being responsive to the needs of others.



态度的培养,体现在PYP课堂的每时每刻,它深刻影响到整个学习环境以及该环境中人与人的互动,对学生品格的塑造和未来的发展产生了深刻的影响。

The cultivation of attitude, embodied in every moment of PYP class, has a profound influence on the whole learning environment and the interaction between people in that environment, and has a profound influence on the shaping of students' character and their future development.


海亮外国语学校的学子们不断用行动解读着他们对IB理念的理解, 成为了懂得欣赏、尊重、宽容,富有自信、创意、热诚,具有好奇心、同理心、独立性,学会投入、合作、正直的学习者。

在近日的海亮外国语学校IBPYP教研协作会议上,PYP六大科目组老师们一起协作, 共同制定单元教学计划,并探讨了怎样将IB理念更好地融入PYP课堂。为了培养全面发展的PYP学习者,我们一直在行动!

At the recent HFLS IBPYP Teaching and Research Collaboration Meeting, teachers of the six subject groups worked together to make a unit teaching plan and discussed how to better integrate IB concepts into the PYP classroom. In order to develop well-rounded PYP learners, we are always in action!
