Bid farewell to 2019 and say hello to the new year as TGIF Music Station returns with its latest line-up of Singapore’s favourite performing artistes and rising stars. Taking place on every 1stand 3rd Fridays of the month, the series of music showcase will take you on a musical escapade at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and beyond. A special upsized edition will also be held at the OCBC Square at the Singapore Sports Hub in January to kick off the first of its series for 2020. Join us with your friends and loved ones to croon along to familiar tunes and the latest hits!

Felicia Kusumo 孔俐蒽Felicia Kusumo is often described as an exuberant vocalist with a bright tone. Versatile in many different genres of music (English, Chinese, Kpop, R&B, Pop, Soul), she began her love for singing at a young age of 10 and through the years, she has grown through varied and countless live performances at concerts, weddings and corporate dinners, cafes and bars. Her unbending dedication to her art has been recognized by her mentors and peers both on-stage and in competitions, who awarded her the honour of being the Finale Act for the SYF Ceremonies 2007 at the Indoor Stadium and Victoria Concert Hall, Top 14 in the 2016 Hear Me Sing singing competition organised by Starhub, first runner up for both On Stage competition and TGSR cover contest 2017 organised by Noise Singapore, and Best Vocal Performance for the SG:SW 2018 Song Writing competition.

Lin Si Tong 林思彤 Lin Si Tong is a Singapore based singer-songwriter whom has released 2 albums《彤类 Tong’s Music》and《完美治疗者 Perfect Healer》in 2012 and 2015 respectively. Both best-selling albums have topped the Singapore HMV Top Asian chart during their release period. In 2012, The Straits Times Life!, reported Si Tong as one of the 5 brightest local new talents. While in 2015, HerWorld Singapore, picked Si Tong as one of the 55 inspiring female millennials of Singapore.Nicknamed Singapore’s “Della 丁当” by local media, Si Tong has been writing and singing for local drama serials for the past 10 years. Notable works include《小小故事》, which was up on local’s international radio chart of YES933 醉心⻰⻁榜 for 6 weeks. Another single,《黑翼心灵》, has also been ranked highlyon Singapore’s KKBOX charts, alongside songs from international artistes like Gem Tang (邓紫棋), and it was nominated in Singapore’s biggest annual television awards 《红星大奖Star Awards 2015》, under the “Best Theme Song” category.
Qiu Feng Ze 邱锋泽Qiu Feng Ze is a professional, Singaporean singer-songwriter with 120,000 subscribers to his channel on YouTube. He rose to fame when he launched his debut “Ten Storeys” in 2014 to much acclaim, even edging out the king of mandopop Eason Chen to top the radio charts in Taiwan. One of his songs in his 2nd album also reached the top in one of the billboard ranking in Taiwan. Since then, Feng Ze has released numerous music videos in his YouTube channels. Other than composing many well received mandarin hits in the various music platforms, Feng Ze also flaunt his admirable acting skills in “That Girl in Pinafore”.
Charlene Looi & Mint Leong 梁羽晴 from HOODW¡NKED HOODW¡NKED, founded in 2017, has versatile repertoire in English Top 40s and Mando-pop Hits, from the 80s to present. The band is well-tenured in live music venues throughout Singapore such as Hood Bar & Café and Timbre Group, and also performed at major public venues such as Esplanade Theatres By The Bay. HOODW¡NKED presents our hostess with-the-modest Mint Leong and Multi-talented Charlene Looi in an intimate 2-piece acoustic set up.

Ling Kai 铃凯Ling Kai is a bilingual Singaporean singer-songwriter, who picked up the guitar when she was 17 and composed her first song when she was 21. Titled “Larkin Step”, the song was inspired by English poet Philip Larkin. Ling Kai shot to popularity in 2008 after uploading her recording of “Larkin Step”onto YouTube; the song reached a million views. By then she had also begun performing in local pubs together with her band. In 2013, Ling Kai was talent-spotted by the mentors of Stefanie Sun, Lee Sisong and Lee Weisong, who produced Ling Kai’s first bilingual and full-length album “LinK”, which was released in 2013 in Beijing, Malaysia, and Singapore. In 2014, Ling was among the 60 contestants invited to compete on Chinese reality TV singing show Sing My Song《中国好歌曲》aired on CCTV. She emerged as the only Singaporean and the sole female contestant to make it to the finals, and was also the winner of the team mentored by veteran singersongwriter Tanya Chua.
Derrick Hoh 何维健 Derrick Hoh was the FIRST Singaporean Artiste to achieve #1 on Singapore iTunes Store. Featured in The Straits Times as one of the Top 10 personalities who achieved exceptional results before reaching 30, Derrick has received critical acclaims from media for his song-writing skills! Derrick has also won the prestigious 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards Best Asian Artist – Singapore, amidst the various awards received in Singapore and around the region. Earning the likes of many Singaporeans for his versatility, Derrick is a pure talent at performing both fast tracks and ballads. He has also staged two solo 11ticketed shows by far.
Soph T. 霏霏Bilingual singer-songwriter, Soph T. never thought that she would become who she is today. She grew up having the dreams of becoming a professional badminton player, however was forced to quit sports at the age of 13 due to an injury to her tailbone. Soph T. then picked up the piano skills at the age of 14, and self-taught herself how to play an acoustic guitar a year later. She continues to pursue her musical talents by conducting for her school choir and playing lead roles in school musicals.With her talents, Soph T. had been involved in various events and performances, which include Artbox Singapore 2017, Esplanade,PAssionArts Festival, Hear65 X UFM 100.3: LIVE from the Lion City and more. In 2018, she participated and came in as the winner for both competitions, Huayi 12 U Sing and Starker Music Jams. On 30 Aug 2019, the singer-songwriter released her debut Mandarin single《上 鎖 locked away》.

Lennerd 林健辉Lennerd is a versatile Singaporean independent artiste. He started singing when he was 3-years-old and has been performing in numerous private and public events ever since. Moreover, he excels in singing music of different genres (Pop, Jazz, Rock and Chinese 13Classic) and languages (Chinese, English, Malay, Hokkien, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese and Thai).Lennerd has participated in many competitions. He was the champion of Hua Yi Icon Search 2018, 1st runner up for Campus Superstar 2013 (CSS) and a finalist of The Voice Singapore/Malaysia. 4 years later, Lennerd emerged as a local independent artiste who specialises in Mandarin pop songs. MICappella 麦克疯 Effervescent, dynamic and versatile, MICappella is one of Asia’s leading vocal band based in Singapore.
