1 Can you skate?
你会滑冰吗？
Danny is going to teach Li Ming to skate.
丹尼打算教李明滑冰。
But Danny is late.
但是丹尼迟到了。
“Look! There’s Danny!” says Jenny.
“看，丹尼在那儿！”珍妮说。
“Sorry, I’m late,” says Danny.
“对不起，我迟到了，”丹尼说。
“That’s okay,” say Jenny and Li Ming.
“没关系，”珍妮和李明说。
“I’m going to teach you to skate, Li Ming,” says Danny.
“我打算教你滑冰，李明，”丹尼说。
“Can you stand up on the ice?” asks Danny.
“你能在冰上站起来吗？”丹尼问。
“Yes, I can,” says Li Ming.
“可以，我能站起来，”李明回答。
“Look, Danny! I’m standing!”
“看，丹尼！我站起来了！”
“Good!” says Danny.
“很好！”丹尼说。
Danny stands up, too.
丹尼也站了起来。
“Can you skate?” asks Danny.
“你会滑冰吗？”丹尼问。
“I think I can,” says Li Ming. “Come on, Danny!”
“我想我可以，”李明说。“过来，丹尼！”
“Oops!” says Danny. He falls down.
“哎呀！”丹尼说。他摔倒了。
Li Ming skates over to Danny.
李明滑到丹尼旁边。
“How did I do, Danny?” he asks.
“我做得怎么样，丹尼？”他问到。
“You learn fast, Li Ming!” says Danny.
“你学得很快，李明！”丹尼说。
“Oops!” says Danny.
“哎呀！”丹尼说。
He falls down again.
他又摔倒了。
I fell down again!
我又摔倒了！
“Can you stand up?” asks Jenny.
“你还能站起来吗？”珍妮问。
“No, I can’t,” says Danny.
“不行，我站不起来了，”丹尼说。
