Colours and Feelings 
颜色和印象
In some countries, red is an angry colour.  
在一些国家,红色是愤怒的颜色。
To "see red" means to get very angry.  
“看红色”意思是非常生气。

But in China, red is a happy colour. 
但是在中国,红色是一个开心的颜色。
We wear red clothes at Chinese New Year and give money in red envelopes. 
我们中国新年穿红衣,压岁钱也放在红色的信封里。

Yellow and orange are cheerful summer colours. 
黄色和橙色是令人愉快的夏日颜色。
Sunshine looks orange, and golden yellow is the colour of a sandy beach.

Blue is the colour of the sky and the sea.

Cinderella lived with her stepmother and her two stepsisters.

Her mother died when she was young.

Cinderella was sad. Her stepmother and sisters were very lazy.

Cinderella had to do all the work.

She worked very hard, but her stepsisters were always angry with her.

The prince was having a special party.

The stepmother and stepsisters were very excited.

They bought new dresses for the party.

Cinderella wanted to go to the party, too.

The stepsisters laughed at her.

When the stepsisters went to the party, Cinderella cried.

 教学设计 

一、教学目标

1. 能够综合复习本单元所学的词汇及功能句。

2. 能够在教师的引导下,借助图片和其他阅读策略读懂故事,完成 B 项的

选词填空练习。

3. 能够通过阅读故事,获取相应信息,体会故事中人物心情,并尝试借助

关键词等复述故事。

二、教学建议

热身、复习

1. 转盘游戏,复习本单元词句

教师用课件制作一个两环转盘, 内环是星期, 外环是心情的词汇。转盘的指

针指向哪一天,学生就用本单元重点词汇表达那一天的心情。

2. 自由交谈,导入故事

教师提问:How do you feel today? Why? 引导学生说一说今天的心情。之后,

教师引导学生提问:How about you, teacher? 教师回答:I am very excited because I will tell you a fairy tale in English. I like fairy tales very much. The name is ... ( 教师板书: Cinderella),引入故事。

读前活动

1. 自由谈论灰姑娘,提出问题。教师问:Who are the characters in the story?

接着用课件呈现主人公:Cinderella, stepmother, stepsisters, godmother, prince 。

2. 教师请学生用几句话简单说一说灰姑娘的故事。应鼓励学生尽量用英文,

实在做不到也可以用中文简述。

Tip:此环节主要是通过学生对故事相关问题的回答及讨论,引出主人公,激

活和唤醒学生对故事的记忆, 也帮助教师了解学生学习的起点, 为后续学习做铺

垫。读中活动

1. 初读故事,抓住大意

教师可以提出概括性问题,如:Cinderella wanted to go to the party. What

problem did Cinderella have? Who helped her? At the end of the story, whom did the prince marry?

2. 再读故事,处理生词

学生独自默读故事, 画出自己不认识的单词或者不能理解的短语及句子, 然

后分组谈论各自遇到的难点, 在小组内尝试自学解决。可以采用共同讨论、 査字

典,或者根据上下文推断等方式解决。最后,教师收集各组难以解决的问题,写

在黑板上集中讲解。

3. 听录音,学故事

(1) 教师打乱顺序出示挂图,并播放录音,请学生合上课本,边听录音边把

打乱顺序的图片排序。

(2) 教师播放第二遍录音,请学生打开课本,听录音指文字,再次了解和熟

悉故事内容。

4. 品读故事,关注细节

教师 PPT出示问题, 请学生分组讨论。问题主要围绕 Cinderella 的情感变化

展开。

(1) 教师问:At the beginning of the story, how did Cinderella feel? Why was she sad? 同时,也让学生对比找出 Cinderella 和两个继姐姐的性格特点。

(2) 教师接着提问:How did the stepsisters feel when they heard of the party? Why did they laughed at Cinderella? Who helped Cinderella? How did she help her? How did Cinderella feel? What happened when it was 12 o’clock? How did Cinderella feel then? ... 在一系列的问题引导后, 教师可以采用情感流程图的板书 方式帮助学生梳理故事脉络,如: sad—scared—surprised—nervous—happy—worried—happy。与其对应的是原因,与其对比的是姐姐们和王子的情感变化。

(3) 教师再问:At the end of the story, how did the prince find Cinderella? Did they marry at last?

Tip:教师在此环节也可采取用问题引导、 PPT选择连线、选词填空等方式帮

助学生关注故事细节。总之,教师要根据学生特点, 选取不同的阅读策略帮助学

生品读故事,深入了解故事。

5. 学生再听录音,并模仿朗读

读后活动

1. 学生完成 B 项的填空练习,然后在小组内核对答案,再在全班订正、朗

读。

2. 教师带领全班学生根据板书的线索复述故事。

3. 学生分组复述故事, 可以采取根据灰姑娘的情感变化每人复述一 ? 二句,

然后整组展示的方式进行,也可由学生一人自己完成复述。

4. 教师提出开放性问题,引发学生思考,如:Why did the prince marry

Cinderella? If Cinderella left the party after 12 o ’clock, what would happen? Do you like the stepmother and the stepsisters? why? Do you have any questions about the story?

Tip:对于灰姑娘的故事,孩子们很熟知,因此也会有很多的思考和问题。教

师不妨引导学生展开讨论, 进一步挖掘灰姑娘的善良品质。教师也可以鼓励学生

根据情节大胆尝试,对故事进行合理的改编或续写。

三、备选活动

表演故事

对于叙述性的故事, 表演有一定的难度。教师和学生可以通过不同途径搜集

灰姑娘的剧本, 由教师在课后带领学生分角色朗读, 或分小组扮演。若教师有余

力,也可以带领学生根据故事改编一个表演对话。当然,在教师的引导下,也可

以把这项改编剧本的任务留做学生的家庭作业。
