Last year, my clock was broken.

I was late and missed the competition.

That was a great pity. 

那真的很遗憾。

I hope I can win the first prize this year. 

我希望我今年能得第一。

I am also going to Xiamen to visit my grandparents.

我还要去厦门看我祖父母。

Xiamen is in the south of China. 

厦门在中国南部。

I am going to give my photos of the competition to them.

我要去给他们看我竞赛的照片。

I think they will be very happy! I am looking forward to seeing them. 

我觉得他们一定会很开心的！我很期待看到他们。
