职位描述：

Rio Tinto Procurement is to deliver measurable value to Rio Tinto Business Units. This is achieved through driving the establishment or improvement of competitive frameworks and markets for the purchase of goods and services enabled by e-technologies and resulting in continuous improvement, improved Supplier Safety and measurable savings. RTP provides procurement and supply chain consultancy services for Rio Tinto Group Companies and manages spend of around USD10 billion per annum. The Emerging Markets - China team is one of the key components of Rio Tinto’s global sourcing and procurement strategy to ensure benefits to Rio Tinto Business Units via provision of market intelligence and increased security of supply that will be derived from an expansion in the emerging markets supply base. This role will be sitting at Major Project under Emerging Market China team within Global Sourcing Department of RTP and assists the category leader and Manager to look after the sourcing and procurement of the assigned categories.

The purpose of the role is:
The Sourcing Specialist is a key role in the Emerging Market team, who will be acting as the bridge to streamline the communication and negotiation among Rio Tinto entities and the China suppliers, with the responsibilities on coordinating with Emerging Market suppliers and end user(s) within Rio Tinto group and developing and implementing the sourcing strategies for the assigned categories.

Detailed job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
?    Being accountable for the working with end user(s) and Projectors team on development, implementation and managing the sourcing strategies on assigned projects
?    Making necessary in-country market study
?    Assisting to work out short and long term sourcing strategy drafting and implementation
?    Managing China supplier relationship
?    Assisting the tendering and contract execution until the delivery of the goods
?    Taking part in the pre/post order discussion on quality assurance for assigned categories
?    Interact with EPCM to maintain effective communication between suppliers, EPCM and end users
?    Coordinating the after sales service for assigned categories
?    Providing the guidelines on the cultural and safety to the suppliers

To be considered for this role you will have:
?    Excellent English capability - written and spoken
?    University graduate majoring in engineering degree is preferable
? 3~5 years of experience in a sourcing or procurement role （global sourcing office experience is preferable）
?    Previous experience in EPCM company or mining industry is preferable
?    Previous experience on safety management
?    Commercial experience in a large organisation is preferable
?    Good command of PC skills – Microsoft and other related packages
?    Very good inter-personal communication skills with people from different culture background
