Inspired by curio boxes, a Chinese tradition dating back more than a hundred years, it is nicknamed as “the emperor’s toy chest”. These finely wrought treasure chests held a prized position in the imperial residence and were filled with precious antiques for the emperor’s delight. Likewise, the four unique mooncake gift boxes capture the spirit and personalities of each of our Houses, each one is crafted with the utmost care and full of surprises to discover, just like each House.

Sleek and modern, The Opposite House Mooncake Box Set is a treasure chest of delicious revelations waiting to be uncovered and appreciated from every angle.

成都博舍设计灵感来拥有逾百年历史、始建于清代的中式庭院笔帖式，保留着昔日的历史底蕴，把成都的过往和现在相融合，诚如居舍充满鲜明的对比。

The Temple House Mooncake Box Set takes cues from the hotel’s beautifully restored Qing Dynasty building, bringing together the past and present in Chengdu.

香港奕居以耀目的金色作点缀，低调而奢华，如同浮于上空的居舍，让人暂忘时光的流动，沉浸其中。

Swathed in subtle, earthy tones with gold detailing, The Upper House Mooncake Box Set channels the tranquil haven that is our House Above the City and inspires the same timeless serenity.

With the same impeccable sense of style as The Middle House, this jewel-toned Mooncake Box Set is as much a work of art as the hand-picked pieces throughout the space.

Classics are classics for a reason, but we’re always looking to innovate. Alongside the timeless flavours of Maltitol White Lotus Seed Paste and Lava Custard, the eight mini mooncakes in The Opposite House, The Temple House and The Middle House mooncake box sets also come in the two inspired, creative flavours of Parma Ham & Egg Yolk and Tieguanyin Osmanthus Plum.

今年，我们与设计公司EDITECTURE合作，秉承着可持续发展的理念打造此次礼盒。每个盒子上的「璧玉」平安扣，使用来自居舍的玻璃瓶及旧制服的回收物料所制成。透过现代手法制作代表传统工艺品的平安扣，就如它本身所象征的意义一般，作为家庭之间代代传承的平安护身符，将可持续发展的精神薪火相传。

This year, we have partnered with design firm EDITECTURE to create mooncake box sets with a mind-set of sustainability.  Each box’s “jade” Ping An Kou amulet is made of recycled material created using glass bottles and uniforms from the Houses. It’s a modern take on a traditional artefact that families used to pass peace and safety down generations, in the same circular way that’s central to sustainable development.
