提到武汉的美食文化,“过早”一定是最先推荐的。花样丰富兼具南北风味,冬哥集各家所长将“过早”浓缩成精致头盘。三鲜豆皮,大连面、以及鸡冠饼,各有特色,小巧精致,三两小口就描绘了一个人间烟火的“过早”。
"Guozao" is the epitome of Wuhan's food culture. There are many different kinds of guozao, with flavours inspired by both the North and South of China. Drawing on the variety, Chef Li Dong has created series of appetisers to represent the tradition of guozao. The array of two-bite starters include Three-Delicacy Green Bean Cake, Hubei Breakfast Noodles and “cockscomb” cake.
虾渣是武汉当地的独特美食,冬哥巧妙地将当地的虾渣与春卷融合,为食客呈现虾渣春卷。酥脆的春卷外壳包裹色泽金黄的虾渣充斥着口腔,满口的咸香鲜辣,瞬间打开你的味蕾。
Shrimp “zha” is a unique delicacy that can be found in Wuhan. Chef Li Dong skillfully blends shrimp “dregs” for Spring Roll with Shrimp “Zha”. At once salty and spicy, these crispy spring rolls are the perfect opener to a meal.
三丝鱼糕是武汉当地家家户户餐桌上必备的美食之一,将鲜嫩爽弹的草鱼鱼肉打成泥,刷上金黄的蛋黄液蒸成鱼糕。嫩滑鲜香的鱼糕切片再装盘淋上酱汁,搭配香菇丝、肉丝及笋丝,这一定是你在其他地方都吃不到的美食。
Fish Cake with Woodear is one of Wuhan's signature dishes that is impossible to find elsewhere. Made of pureed grass carp steamed with egg yolk, the fish cake is sliced and topped with sauce, served along with mushrooms, pork and bamboo shoots.
湖北因其河鲜文化最为有名,因此当地的人民对鳝鱼肉极为喜爱。泡椒蒜子笔杆鳝,选自当地肉质最为细嫩、少有的笔杆鳝鱼。去掉内脏和肚腹,加上自制的泡椒及新鲜的大蒜爆炒。很好的压制鳝鱼腥味的同时,更好的发挥鳝鱼天然的香味。辣中微酸,肉质滑嫩汁浓入味。
Famous for its river cuisine, the local people of Hubei love eel. Pickled Pepper and Garlic Eel features some of the region’s most tender and rare eel. Stir-fried with homemade pickled peppers and fresh garlic for a sour, spicy flavour, the rich dish spotlights the eel’s natural taste and smooth texture.
“湿地花城桂满枝,一树一景皆相宜”,桂香满城的武汉,人们也独爱这种香气。用当地精心酿制的酒酿慢炖糯糯的小米圆子,舀上一勺,淡淡的桂花香隐隐的夹杂在酒香味十足的酒酿小圆子中,甜甜暖暖,沁人心脾。
Wuhan is known for the sweet-smelling osmanthus. In Osmanthus with Xiaogan Rice Wine and Pudding, osmanthus-fermented millet balls come together with glutinous rice balls from locally brewed rice wine. Each spoonful carries the faint scent of osmanthus fragrance mixed with rice wine for a sweet and refreshing finish to the meal.
