Tsinghua University's Northeast Gate is an iconic entry point to our campus. For our students, this entrance might be your first encounter with the campus and also your portal to a world full of extraordinary experiences, lasting friendships, and countless opportunities that will shape your unique Tsinghua journey.

As you walk down the road, you can find Tsinghua Zijing Student Dormitory right next to you. They offer a comfortable and convenient living experience, allowing students to enjoy easy access to academic buildings, green spaces, and a host of amenities. This is also where the International Students & Scholars Center is located.

The Student Service Center (C Building) is the most comprehensive one-stop destination for all your needs. It includes a supermarket, hairdresser, post office, bank, ATM, bookshop, photoshop, optical services shop, computer repair shop, souvenir shop, printer shop, phone shop, student card top-up machine, and student registration services.

Located right in front of the C Building, the Zijing Sports Field features standard playgrounds with track fields and soccer fields, where students are free to hang out and work out. You can also reserve the fields for sports events, games, and even large international cultural events like the “Global Village”.

Looking to rejuvenate after an exhilarating sports game at the Zijing Sports Field? You will find two fantastic canteens nearby: the Tao Li Yuan Canteen and the Zi Jing Yuan Canteen. Continue to travel on Xuetang Road, you will soon reach the Humanities and Social Sciences Library! Opened in April 2011, the library is designed like a key, symbolizing its role as the gateway to knowledge. Its extensive collection covers humanities and social sciences, including special collections and donations from renowned scholars. The library also offers self-service printing, borrowing, study room reservations, and expert assistance, making it your go-to resource for academic success.

Read in Spring: Tsinghua's loved reading spots

Some of the teaching buildings are located near the Humanities and Social Sciences Library. Many of you will have lectures and seminars here, and you can also use these teaching buildings as your self-study spots. A full class schedule for each teaching block can be found at the entrance of the 1st floor of the building or a class schedule may be found posted on the door of the classroom.
