2016年9月，教育部批准成立暨南大学伯明翰大学联合学院。学院开设数学与应用数学、信息与计算科学、经济统计学及经济学四个专业，目前在校学生超过500人。

学院各专业的培养方案由暨南大学和伯明翰大学共同制定，引进国际先进的教学理念、课程体系及教学管理体系等，依托两校的优质教育资源，以培养具备扎实数学基础、出色创新能力与合作精神、多语言优势及国际视野的高级复合型人才为基本目标。符合双方学术要求的学生将同时获得暨南大学和伯明翰大学两校学位。

二、申请人要求

1. 具有良好师德师风、学术声誉和道德品行；

2. 教授/副教授：拥有英语教育或应用语言学博士学位；

3. 讲师：拥有应用语言学或TESOL相关领域的硕士学位；

4. 具有丰富的EAP、ESP教学经验及良好的教学评估记录；

5. 具有出色的沟通和人际交往能力。

6.中国籍留学归国人员，须获得教育部留学服务中心所要求的全部学历材料。

Brief introduction of J-BJI

Jinan University-University of Birmingham Joint Institute at Jinan University is a ‘Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Institute’ approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education in 2016. Currently, JNU-UoB offers four undergraduate programs: Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Information and Computing Science, Statistics with Economics, and Economics. 
The four programs offered by the Joint Institute focus on integrating fundamental knowledge with application, aiming to cultivate mathematical and economic professionals in cross-disciplinarity and excellence in the fields of social science and natural science. The primary aim of these programs is to cultivate high-level talents who are equipped with solid mathematical skills, global vision, strong competitiveness in innovative capability, and foreign language proficiency. The four programs put different emphases respectively on applied mathematics, computing method and program design, statistics, and economics and finance.

Position	Professor/Associate Professor/Lecturer in teaching English for Academic English
Location	Panyu Campus, Jinan University, Guangzhou

Requirements

·Has professional ethics and good academic reputation;
·For the Professor/Associate Professor post, hold a PhD degree in English Language Teaching or Applied Linguistics;
·For the Lecturer position, hold a Master degree in a Applied Linguistics or TESOL-related area;
·For all positions, have proven record of teaching excellence, and relevant experience in teaching EAP, ESP and content-based courses at tertiary level;
·For all positions, have excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
·Chinese returnees must obtain all academic materials required by the Education Service Center of the Ministry of Education.

Salary

Attractive salary and benefits corresponding to the position will be provided based on the applicant's academic and teaching level.
