Brawl on the Wall: Wang vs Bojda
Beijing's favorite black-tie boxing event, Brawl on The Wall, is back for yet another bout of fighting at the Park Hyatt Beijing on April 29.
The 2017 Brawl on the Wall is shaping up to be yet another smash hit. Over 500 people are expected to attend the black-tie boxing extravaganza and look on as nine pairs of 'white collar' boxers go head to head. All fighters have undergone intensive training over the past three months. And they'll be ready to show what they've got on April 29.
Leading up to the big night we will be posting interviews with the boxers. From the second bout, Wang Rui and Jessica "Jones" Bojda took the time to answer some questions:

Age: 21

What made you decide to fight?: Be myself.
If you could fight anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? Someone better than me.
What's been the most difficult challenge for you since you started training? Technical part.
What positive changes have you seen in yourself since you started training? Be myself.
Describe a memorable experience from your training. First actual combat.
Favorite boxer? Zou Shiming.
Favorite fight ever? Next one.
Advice for people who are thinking of participating in next year's Brawl on the Wall. Insistence. Do not retreat, Believe in yourself.

What made you decide to fight?: Love the fight.
If you could fight anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? Mike Tyson.
What's been the most difficult challenge for you since you started training? Passing on going out in order to wake up at 5:30am and go train.
What positive changes have you seen in yourself since you started training? Better time management.
Describe a memorable experience from your training. Getting punched in the face for the first time is quite unforgettable.

Favorite fight ever? All Mike Tyson fights.
Advice for people who are thinking of participating in next year's Brawl on the Wall. Don't think about it. Just do it.
Tickets for Brawl on the Wall
All tickets include a four-course meal, free-flow wine, beer, cocktails and soft drinks. Each table sits 10 people, with Silver tables going for RMB8,000, Gold tables for RMB11,000 and Ringside tables (which come with four bottles of sparkling wine/Champagne) for RMB15,000.
