1195名冬泳勇士逐浪大明湖 | Jinan intl winter swimming competition opens
1月11日-12日，2020年国际冬泳世界杯（济南站）暨第八届中国济南冬季畅游泉水国际公开赛在大明湖风景区隆重举行。
The 8th Winter Springs Swimming (Daming Lake) International Invitational of 2020 took place on Jan 11 and 12 in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province.
来自30个国家和地区102支代表队的1195名勇士逐浪大明湖，在近零度的泉水中破浪前行，挥洒豪情，用意志和勇气生动诠释着“挑战自然、挑战极限、挑战自我”的冬泳精神。
A total of 1,195 swimmers in 102 teams from 30 countries and regions braved the icy water on the opening day, with temperatures dipping to nearly zero degrees Celsius.
本届比赛由山东省体育局和济南市政府联合主办。至今，济南国际冬泳赛已经连续举办八届，赢得了国内外众多冬泳爱好者的广泛赞誉。
Jointly hosted by the Shandong Sports Bureau and Jinan municipal government, the event, now in its eighth year, has gained a strong international reputation.
今年，国际冬泳世界杯落户济南，这既是对济南多年来举办冬泳赛的信任，也是对济南城市品质提升的印证。
This year's event was also included in the International Winter Swimming World Cup by the International Winter Swimming Association (IWSA).
作为世界上唯一一个在泉水中开展的冬季游泳项目，济南国际冬泳赛为国内外众多冬泳爱好者搭建感受济南魅力、领略泉水文化的平台。
As the world's only winter swimming event held in spring water, the Jinan winter spring swimming competition provides swimming enthusiasts with a chance to get close to the spring water and enjoy the beauty of Jinan city.
