Jinan's second bonded zone gains national approval
The establishment of Jinan Zhangjin Comprehensive Bonded Zone was officially approved by the State Council on May 26. The zone, covering an area measuring 1.52 square kilometers, is now the second bonded zone in the city.
5月26日，济南章锦综合保税区正式获得国务院批复。该区规划面积1.52平方公里，是济南市第二个综合保税区。

Digital economy project competition launched in Jinan
The opening ceremony for the first China Shandong Digital Economy Excellent Project (Product) Competition took place in Jinan Pioneer Area on May 20. The competition, partly hosted by JD cloud & AI and Inspur In-Cloud, is a digital economy industry project contest for universities, teams of entrepreneurs, companies, and individuals.
5月20日，第一届中国·山东数字经济优秀项目（产品）大赛开幕式在济南先行区举办。此次大赛由京东智联云、浪潮云等多家企业协办，面向高校、创业团队、企业及个人，吸引数字经济领域的优秀项目。
During the ceremony, the Shandong Yellow Digital Economy Industrial Park project was launched. With a total investment of 3 billion yuan ($421.4 million), the park is set to cover an area of 17.1 hectares. It will undertake high-end quality projects for digital economy firms involved in cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence.
开幕式上，山东黄河数字经济产业园正式启动。该产业园总投资30亿元，规划占地257亩，将聚集数字经济企业，引进云计算、大数据、人工智能等领域的优质项目。

Jinan to develop e-commerce, broadcasting center
A plan to develop e-commerce and build broadcasting centers was officially launched in Jinan on May 22.
5月22日，济南《大力发展电商经济打造直播经济总部基地的实施方案》正式发布。
The city will work to develop a number of facilities for livestreamers to broadcast from, with plans for more than 5,000 studios. In addition, over 10,000 internet celebrities will be recruited to sell products live online.
济南将打造一批直播经济基地，引进5000个以上直播间，10000名以上直播电商带货网红达人。
济南打造黄河绿色生态廊道，守护母亲河
Jinan develops green belt along Yellow River
Rows of newly planted white bark pines, cedars and other green plants are growing next to the Yellow River in Jinan. They have been planted as part of an initiative by the local government to promote environment protection around the river area.
一排排新植的白皮松、雪松等绿植挺立在黄河两岸，作为济南实施黄河两岸绿化提升工作的一部分。
