top 10 provincial capitals
Among China's 27 provincial and autonomous regions' capitals, Jinan ranked in the top 10 in terms of overall GDP in 2020 with a GDP of 1.04 trillion yuan ($154.89 billion).
从GDP数据来看，2020年，27个省会(自治区首府)城市中济南全年地区生产总值达到10140.91亿元，在全国省会城市GDP十强中位列第八。

Jinan sees strong tourism recovery
during Qingming Festival
During China's Tomb-sweeping Day holiday (April 3-5), Jinan's 17 major scenic spots received a total of 636,000 visitors, up 187 percent year on year and recovering to 51.7 percent of 2019 number.
清明小长假期间，济南17家重点景区共接待游客63.6万人次，同比增长187%，恢复到2019年的51.7%。

Jinan recognized as
demonstration city for cultural
and tourism consumption
The awards ceremony for the first group of national cultural and tourism consumption model cities was held in Jinan on April 1. A total of 15 cities including Jinan, Hangzhou and Nanjing won the title, a testament to their achievements in the field of cultural tourism consumption.
4月1日上午，第一批国家级文化和旅游消费示范城市授牌仪式在济南举行。济南、杭州、南京等15个城市被授牌，彰显了这些城市文旅消费领域最具示范意义的工作成果。

Yang's Braised Chicken and Rice is a traditional Jinan food brand popular for its tender chicken and thick broth. It now has over 30 stores in the United States and expected to expand to more areas in the country, according to Zhang Xinyu, CEO of the company's US operations.
济南传统名菜“杨铭宇黄焖鸡米饭”以鲜嫩的鸡肉和浓汤备受青睐。如今“杨铭宇黄焖鸡米饭”在美国已开到了30多家门店。杨铭宇黄焖鸡米饭美国公司CEO张新宇表示：“五年之内要达到一个百家门店的水平。”
