The Office of Civil Air Defense of Jinan Municipal recently issued emergency packages to 10,000 families in the city.

近日，济南市人防办向济南市1万个家庭发放人防战备应急包。

The emergency package comes with an emergency toolbox, N95 masks, a fire blanket, an emergency escape rope, a multi-functional emergency flashlight, a candle, a box of waterproof matches, a medical kit, a whistle, a pair of wear-resistant gloves, an emergency brochure as well as an emergency contact cards.

包内物品具体包括：应急工具盒、N95口罩、灭火毯、应急逃生绳、多功能应急强光手电、长效蜡烛、防水火柴、战备医药箱、三合一应急口哨、防滑耐磨手套，以及《人防战备应急手册》和战备应急联络卡。

The package can be used in the event of an air raid, earthquake, fire, traffic accident and other natural disasters or emergency affairs.

应急包适用于在遭受空袭或发生地震、火灾、交通事故等自然灾害或突发事件时人员进行应急自救互救。

The distribution of the packages is part of the 22 public welfare projects undertaken by the city’s government this year. As of the end of the third quarter this year, 11 projects have been completed ahead of schedule, while the rest are progressing smoothly.

此次发放的应急包是2021年济南市政府22件为民办实事之一。截至第三季度末，有11件提前完成，其余事项正在按时间节点扎实推进。
