Paul: Hello, Claire! How are you today?
保罗：你好，克莱尔！今天好吗？
Clair: Hi, Paul! I m fine, but I hate this weather!
克莱尔：嗨，保罗! 我很好，但是我讨厌这种天气！
Paul: What do you mean? The weather s quite nice today.
保罗：你是什么意思？今天的天气很不错。
Clair: It s wet! It s always wet! Is it ever fine and warm in England?
克莱尔：太湿了！天总是潮湿的！英国有晴朗而温暖的天气吗？
Paul: Well, of course it is! It s always lovely in summer!
保罗：当然有！夏天的天气总是很好！
Clair: But when is that? Is it ever dry and sunny for two days together?
克莱尔：但是那是什么时候？有连着两天干燥又有阳光的时候吗？
Paul: Well, that s how it is with an Atlantic climate! It s often hot and dry in summer.
保罗：哦，大西洋气候就是这样的！夏天天气又热又干。
Paul: But it rains sometimes in summer, too, especially in July.
保罗：但是在夏天有时也下雨，尤其是在七月份。
Clair: You re right. It s July now. It s cool, and it s very wet!
克莱尔：你说的对。现在就是七月，天气凉爽，而且非常潮湿！
Paul: Well, that s the difficulty! It s wet now, and cool, too. The weather changes all the time.
保罗：哦，这就是问题所在！现在很湿，也很凉爽！天气变幻无常。
Paul: But we have an interesting climate! Every day is different!
保罗：但是我们的气候挺有趣的！每一天都不同！
