Fall Tape Resist Process Art Project 胶带创意画

This process art project is great for children of all ages, from babies upwards.

We love Process art because it focusses on exploring the making process not the actual end result. There is no right or wrong way to use this technique, making it a wonderful invitation to try out some art, explore paint and colours, and enjoy creating for pure enjoyment.

胶带创意画适合不同年龄的小孩，从最小的到最大的。

我最喜欢过程艺术”processart”，因为在这种画法重要的不是结果而是过程。没有对没有错的方法，所以可以邀请孩子随便做艺术，探索颜料和颜色，单纯的享受创造快乐！

MATERIALS NEEDED:

·        Thick Cardboard paper

·        Painter’s tape

·        Child-safe scissors

·        Paint (any kind will work depending on the age of your child use washable tempera, acrylics, water colors and even fingerpaint)

·        Paintbrushes 

·        News papers to protect the work space

HOW TO:

To start this process art project, decide which colours of paint you would like to use. Inspiration can come from anywhere, but we took the leaves we’d collected on a nature walk as our starting point and picked out a selection of acrylic paint in autumn shades, including some gold paint. Watercolour and poster paint, or pencils, oil pastels and wax crayons will all work well here too, so you can encourage your children to pick out the materials that appeal to them.

Spread newspapers over your work space. And then allow my daughter to create a design on the cardstock with the painters tape. Little kids may need help cutting the tape. Cut pieces for them in the length they ask and then they can stick it to the cardstock anyway they want. Pieces of tape all over or criss-cross weaving or parallel lines or even their initials depending on the age and desire of the child. 

After adding the tape your kids can go to work. Using the paint or any medium they choose to, either with brushes or even just using their hands. You can encourage your kids to cover all the white space on the paper for maximum effect.

After the paint has tried, you can slowly and carefully take off the tape (paper might rip at some places but that’s ok).

You can frame your child’s piece of art and hang it on the wall.

做法：

先选好你想要的颜料和颜色。我们想要有秋天的感觉所以这次选的都是在秋天能看见的颜色，还加了金色的。你也可以用水彩或彩铅笔或蜡烛笔或别的都可以，你的孩子喜欢什么就让他用什么。这样是完全他自己的作品。

先铺好桌布，避免孩子弄脏桌子。然后邀请你的孩子用胶布贴纸上，随便让他自己发挥，自己设计。年龄小点的孩子可能还需要帮助，你可以帮她们剪好脚步让他们自己贴纸上。胶布贴纸上怎么样都行，谁想要也可以贴成自己的名字。

胶布贴好了后孩子就可以开始上色，用他们喜欢的方法和颜料，用毛笔或用手。鼓励孩子把纸上所有的白色的部分都涂上颜色。

最后等颜料干了把白色胶带撕下，一副抽象的色彩画就呈现出来了。

完成。你可以给孩子的作品表框挂墙上。
