2018年10月16—17日，“2018丝绸之路工商领导人（张家界）峰会”在湖南省张家界市成功举办。来自俄罗斯、格鲁吉亚、乌克兰、保加利亚、土库曼斯坦、黎巴嫩、克罗地亚、意大利、澳大利亚、瑞士、法国、德国等84个“一带一路”相关国家和地区的政府代表、驻华使节、国际组织领导、商协会主席以及国际贸易、金融、品牌、旅游、医学专家等400余人，围绕“开放的新时代、发展的新平台、美丽的新湖南”主题，共话“一带一路”国际合作，共促全球经贸繁荣发展。
