1）Open rank scientist position in Protein Chemistry Department

You will play an important role in building our exosome therapy platform. You will participate in our global project team, take overall responsibility in exosome purification and characterization, provide scientific insights, identify technology opportunities and drive external collaborations.

You are expected to be an expert in utilizing exosomes, liposomes or nanoparticles as drug delivery system, with extensive experience including but not limited to isolation, purification, characterization and engineering (e.g. cargo loading of small molecules, siRNA/ASO, mRNA, proteins and gene editing tools).

2）Department of Pharmacology and Histopathology

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise and in-depth understanding of exosomes biology and technology, or with other lipid nanoparticle-based drug delivery. The persons should have extensive experience on some of the following aspects: exosomes engineering (e.g. tissue targeting, cargo loading of small molecules, siRNA/ASO, mRNA, proteins and gene editing tools), in vitro and / or in vivo evaluation of exosomes uptake / tissue distribution (e.g. imaging analysis) / efficacy, or similar experience done with other lipid nanoparticle formulations. The successful candidate will work closely with scientists cross functional areas, and play an important role in building our exosome therapy platform.

Responsibilities

1. Spearhead development of exosome therapy platform

2. Design and execute exosome isolation, purification and characterization experiments

3. Provide exosome biology and technology expertise and input to project

4. Identify technology opportunities and drive external collaboration

5. Scientific network with internal and external shareholders and stakeholders

Qualifications         

1. A Ph.D. in medical, biomedical, pharmaceutical, biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, biophysics or relevant disciplines

2. Experience working with exosomes, liposomes or nanoparticles is a must

3. Demonstrated scientific creativity such as good track record of publication and/or proposing new hypothesis driven research project

4. Ability to influence, communicate and collaborate across a global organization

5. Knowledge and training in diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, NASH and other serious chronic disease areas are preferred

6. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
