恩宁路位于广州西关老城腹地。我们从早期的总体规划和设计控制开始,结合万科自身的业务资源,希望项目能成为有城市生活,有充实业态的街区,而不是一味复古的空壳形象。
Enning Road is located in the hinterland of Guangzhou's Xiguan Old City. We started with the early master planning and design control, and combined with Vanke's own business resources, we hope that the project can become a neighbourhood with urban life and full of industrial status, instead of blindly retro shell image.

项目一览
随着城市发展已日渐边缘化,恩宁路的改造一直被寄予厚望,但困难重重,未能落实,直至2016年万科成功将永庆大街片区改造为综合业态的新型街区。
Along with the urbanization, the renovation of Enning Road district has been highly anticipated, but difficult to implement. Until 2016, the developer Vanke had a chance to transformed Enning Rd into a multi-program urban complex.
Starting from the very beginning, we worked with the developer in early scheme phase. With their resources in realestate, making sure the project could bring back real urban activity and real programs as many as possible, instead of another old town image for tourists.
一方面对有历史价值的旧房子修复、还原、加固,尽可能忠实地还原历史面貌,另一方面也去粗存精,大胆引入现代业态需要的通透、开放、灵活、创意的元素,让新旧碰撞,使街区焕发新生的神采。
The heritage of old houses are restored, renovated, and structurally reinforced, the historical features restored as faithfully as possible. On the other hand, elements of transparency, openness, flexibility, and dramatic scenes are introduced for nowadays needs. The old-and- new collisions make the neighborhood glow with a new spirit.
The design has an ambition in using small-scale space original, facade and other traditional way to find a better yet more practical way of revitalisation. The Project had a great response in public. It has been highly praised by the Guangzhou Bureau of Renewal and has become an example of “micro-reconstruction” and serve as a valuable reference for upcoming old town revitalization in many cities.
