--What day is it today? Is it Wednesday or Thursday?
--It’s Wednesday. It’s my favourite day!
--Why do you like Wednesday?
--On Wednesday we have two PE lessons. I love sport.
--I don’t like sport, so I don’t like Wednesday. My favourite day is Thursday. Why?
--We have a music lesson on Thursday and I love singing.
--今天星期几？今天是星期三还是星期四？
--今天是星期三，是我最喜欢的一天！
--你为什么喜欢星期三？
--星期三我们有两节体育课。我喜欢运动。
--我不喜欢体育运动，所以我不喜欢星期三。我最喜欢的一天是星期四。

【知识点一】
星期/时间的提问
1.询问星期几的句型：
--What day is it today?
--It’s + 星期.
如：
-- What day is it today? (今天是星期几？)
-- It’s Monday. （星期一）
2.询问时间的句型:
1)问时间点：
--What’s the time? =What time is it?
-- It’s +钟表时间.
如：
--What time is it?
--It's half past seven.
2)问时间段：
--When do you…?
-- From… to…
如：
--When does he usually take exercise?
--He usually takes exercise from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m..
【知识点二】
or的用法：表示或者，是连词。
在含有or的选择疑问句中，只可选择其一回答。
如：
--Is it Wednesday or Friday?
-- It's Friday. (二选一回答)
--Is the room big or small?
--It's big. (二选一回答)
常见的连词有：
but但是，表示转折关系
and和，而，然后，表示并列关系
so所以，表示因果关系
【知识点三】
favourite 作形容词，表示最喜爱的
如：favourite colour 最喜欢的颜色
相关短语：
my favourite 我最喜欢的
her favourite 她最喜欢的
his favourite 他最喜欢的
【知识点四】
Why: 为什么，特殊疑问词，放在句首，提问原因，常用because来回答。
如：
--Why do you like Sunday?
--Because I can go fishing with my father.
常见的特殊疑问词有：
what什么
which哪一个；哪一些
where哪里
when什么时候
who谁
whose谁的
how怎么样
【知识点五】
like/ love 喜欢 ，两者用法相同
1）like/love to do想做......（偶尔的做法）
2）like/love doing 喜欢做......
（经常性、习惯性的做法，表示爱好）
如：I love running.
3）like/love + 名词
如：I love sport.
相关句型变换：
肯定句：I like running.
否定句： I don’t like running.
一般疑问句：Do you like running?
肯定回答： Yes, I do.
否定回答： No, I don’t.
【知识点六】weekend / weekday
weekend，周末，包含周六和周日
相关短语：at the weekend
weekday，工作日，从周一到周五
相关短语：on weekdays
注意： 星期前面要加介词on;
如：on Sunday ; on Monday
在西方国家，星期天是一周的第一天，
星期六是一周的最后一天。
【知识点七】today 今天
It is rainy today. 今天下雨。

昨天（yesterday）
前天（the day before yesterday）
明天 (tomorrow)
后天（the day after tomorrow）
