1. What is the career paths in GTPS?

Each Management Trainee will have the opportunities to work in different functions such as Product Development, Middle Offices, Front Line Sales; and different locations across China where GTPS has presence.

At graduation, you will be re-positioned within GTPS function as Sales Manager, Product Manager or Middle Office Manager, depending on your personal interest and your evidenced capabilities. Given future performance, Management Trainee will also have opportunity to move among different functions or locations, to enrich your experience in global GTPS field and become an industrial expert.

2. Who are we looking for?

Excellent analytical ability, quick learner and able to work under pressure;
Possessing competent skills in the aspect of team leadership, teamwork, problem solving, interpersonal and communication;

Global Business Services

1. Global Business Services & Chief Operating Office

GBS is a key partner for business lines development and performances. This global team gathers the following support functions: Market, Operations (OPER), Information Technology (ITEC), Finance (DFIN), Strategy and Organization (S&O), Corporate Services (CS) and Security & Anti-Fraud Expertise (SAFE).

In China, GBS regroups 170 professionals spread across 7 locations, with a centralization of transversal functions in Beijing and two platforms dedicated to market activities (Shanghai) and Trade (Guangzhou)

Management Trainee - Coverage

1. The Coverage and Investment Banking division of SG CIB

CORIoffers a global advisory approach focused on strategic dialogue with clients. Building on long-term relationships based on trust, CORI offers clients the whole range of services offered by SG CIB and the Group, with a focus on investment banking and commercial banking activities.

2. What career paths in CORI?

Support banker/RM for account maintenance: to liaise with different functions and product line which would help the graduate to build up an overall view of the bank and coverage function.
Junior RM with a limited portfolio to build up credentials and experience
Senior RM with bigger portfolio and strategic names of the bank
Banker as single contributor or lead a team

3. Who are we looking for?

Basic understanding of the key elements of financial statement;
Major in Finance or Economics would be preferred;

Management Trainee-Global Market

1. Global Markets in China

SG China is the CNY Foreign Exchange (FX) Market Maker CNY/EUR Direct Market Maker for China Interbank Market, we are providing competitive service to our clients and also contribute liquidity to the China Interbank Market. SG China is the active participant in the China Interbank Bond Market, actively participating to the China interbank IRS market. We offer various risk management solutions for FI and corporate clients.

2. What is the career paths in MARK?

MT will enroll in a comprehensive program to be trained in areas of sales & trading, supplemented by exposure in other major business lines within the bank. The program looks to equip the MT with solid working knowledge dealing with FX and rates derivatives, either required for a career in trading, if the candidate suits the quality, or for a career in sales (facing corporate or financial institution), if the candidate sees him or herself confident and excited in a client-facing environment.

Global Markets is a dynamic workplace with sales working extremely closely with trading (and structuring based out of our Hong Kong office).

3. Who are we looking for?

• Finance/Mathematics/Engineering are preferred for structuring/trading, business/Finance/Economy for sale

• French is a plus.
