2022年7月21日，由gmp·冯·格康，玛格及合伙人建筑师事务所于日前中标的中建四局广州金融城项目设计咨询合作协议在广州正式签署。gmp合伙人兼执行总裁吴蔚，中建四局党委副书记、总经理马义俊、局党委常委、副总经理、总工程师黄晨光出席了签约仪式。这也是gmp在广州天河CBD区域继广州发展中心大厦（2005年建成）、广州国际媒体港（2018年建成）、广州寺佑万科中心（2022年建成）之后即将建成的第4个作品。

On 21st July 2022, the design consultation cooperation agreement of CSCEC Fourth Engineering Bureau East Financial City Plot AT091429 Project was officially signed in Guangzhou. gmp Architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners won the 1st prize in the competition recently. Wu Wei, gmp Executive Partner, Ma Yijun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of CSCEC Fourth Bureau, and Huang Chenguang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of CSCEC Fourth Bureau attended the signing ceremony. This project will be the fourth built project by gmp in Guangzhou Tianhe CBD area, after Guangzhou Development Central Building (2005), Guangzhou TV (2018) and Guangzhou Vanke Center (2022).

China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) is the world leading general contractor. CSCEC Fourth Engineering Bureau is the only Guangzhou-based major large-scale company under the umbrella of CSCEC. It is a company deeply rooted in the core of the business and forward looking to new heights and developments related to the future of construction including intelligent building methods, green- and low carbon technologies. The headquarter will be set in this project, the design of the tower will incorporate this corporate culture and into a forward-looking class A+ office building. The design adopts the concept of bamboo as a natural example of natural streamlining to generate a most usable, highly functional organism which consumes minimal resources to excel strongly into the sky.

广州国际金融城的总平面规划明确定义了城市街区，高度各异的裙楼和塔楼勾勒出独特的天际线。办公空间的设计充分考虑了团队灵活办公和沟通交流需求，标准层采用大型无柱开放式楼板、良好的采光条件和大型开放空间。塔楼顶部设有一个通透的观景展厅，面向波澜壮阔的珠江和优雅舒展的城市天际线，用于展示企业的发展历程和成就。

The masterplan of Guangzhou International Financial City defines clear urban blocks with podia and towers of different heights forming a distinctive skyline. The design of the office space fully considers the flexible office and communication needs of the team. The standard floor adopts a large column-free open floor, good lighting conditions and a large open space. An transparent exhibition space in the tower top will showcase the history and achievements of the company in front of the spectacular scenery of Zhuijiang River and the skyline of Guangzhou.

项目在可持续设计方面的目标是尽可能使用预制材料，减少现场施工作业，从而提高施工的精度和速度，降低施工现场对城市的负面影响。建筑及构筑物的可用表面均安装太阳能光伏面板，用于收集清洁能源。主塔的设计中采取了太阳能烟囱等一系列创新节能措施，以自然资源代替二氧化碳排放密集型机械设备，降低总体能耗。

It is the aim to use a high degree of prefabricated materials and to reduce the on-site construction to a minimum. This will increase the precision and speed of construction and at the same time reduce the negative impacts of construction sites to the city. Available surfaces are equipped with photovoltaic cells used to harvest clean energy. Energy saving measures such as solar chimney  have been incorporated into the design for tower. The overall energy consumption is reduced due to the use of natural resources instead of Co2 intensive mechanical equipment.

此外，设计充分考虑了传统岭南建筑的典型特征，尝试打造出符合广州生活环境的现代化办公建筑。大楼以最具现代化的方式，将自然通风、场所营造、绿色景观、防风雨骑楼和带盖行人走廊融于一体。从而打造出一座充满魅力的可持续性高层建筑，彰显业主的实力、影响力和未来定位，同时无缝融入天河区的城市肌理和公共界面。

Based on building features commonly used in the traditional Lingnan Architecture answers to the living conditions in Guangzhou have been reinterpreted to application on a modern office building. Natural ventilation, place making, integration of green, sheltering arcades and covered walkways can all be found in the tower in the most modern way possible. Thus, a highly attractive and sustainable high-rise tower is envisioned, representing the strength, power, and future orientation of the owner while at the same time being a part of the urban fabric and public interface of Tianhe District.
