China Fully Resumes Quick Clearance ,Visa Office Issues More!
China will fully resume fast-track entry and exit at ports to further facilitate the exchange of Chinese nationals and foreign personnel from May 15, the National Immigration Administration (NIA).
Optimization measures released by the National Immigration Administration (NIA) indicate that the country's international travels that were hindered due to COVID-19 will be restored to pre-epidemic levels.

A wide range of residents can enjoy quick customs clearance at ports
Foreigners who hold foreign passports, permanent residence permits, foreign electronic passports and residence permits for foreigners formore than six months and Chinese crew membersworking on scheduled international flights and foreign crew members who are visa-free or have obtained flight attendants can go through the express channel of border inspection.
Also, Mainland residents can apply for permits for travelling, working, group tours or visiting relatives to and from Hong Kong and Macao SARsat any exit and entry control window of public security organs in China, regardless of their registered permanent residence.
You can apply for permits to visit relatives, work and study in Hong Kong and Macao, or for medical treatment, litigation, and property-related affairs, at any exit and entry administration center across the country.
Immigration authorities will also adjust the validity period of visas for mainland students studying in Macao from a maximum of one year to the same period of their studies.
The same polices apply on residents who seek to apply ordinary passports, and visas for travelling to and fromTaiwan.

The demand for visas has driven some to queue outside the China Visa Application Centre overnight, while others have questioned the 'change in treatment'for Singaporeans travelling to China.
”It would move visa appointment bookings online, increase the number of daily appointments and waive any extra fees”, according to the officer.
