The Power Of Art

During this challenging period, all CCNUers showed their support to CCNU and Wuhan in different ways. They poured their sincere affection into the works to encourage and cheer the people to fight against COVID-19.

Stay With Me

Stay With Me, written by Cao Guanyu, a teacher from the School of Music, was widely spread at home and abroad.

“This song represents the voice of Chinese people and all human beings. It connects all things in the world with love,” stated Wang Qin, the Vice President of INTERKULTUR Foundation. According to her, fighting against the virus was the war of all human beings regardless of races, countries, parties and sexes.

As April Pass

As April Pass was a song for Wuhan in lockdown, written by Zhou Haohan from the College of Physical Science and Technology. He felt lonely and depressed at that time, but the kindness of his neighbors boosted his morale and inspired him to write this song.   

Just as the song goes, “the city will be covered in sunshine again” and we all believe it is happening.

We Are All Fighters

CCNU has thousands of passionate and talented students. During this special time, they stand out with strong belief and inspiring works. The video We Are All Fighters is recorded by Jessica Liu, a student from the School of Foreign Languages. She wanted to pass the confidence and hope to all fighters in this silent battle, and to spread China’s determination to win.

As Jessica said, it is only by going dark times that we can separate the greatest from the great. And we all know, we’ll win this war. Apart from the speech, dance major graduates adopted another form to express their good wishes to Wuhan.

When We Walk Together

Music can change the world. During the outbreak, South China Normal University and CCNU worked together to spread love and courage through the song When We Walk Together. 

The sun will shine in the end,

the disease will disappear with the rain.
