The 7th Nie Gannu Poetry Cup Finals Held in CCNU

On November 16, the finals of the 7th “Nie Gannu Poetry Cup”, a Chinese poetry invitational tournament for college students was held in CCNU.
Themed on “remain true to original aspiration and set sail on a new journey”, this year’s competition is aimed at inheriting classics and promoting the spirit of the times. 8 contestants with their works stood out among 1,665 submissions from 150 universities and colleges nationwide and reached the finals.
After six sessions including original poetry battle, poetry live interaction, Feihualing (a word game relevant to poetry), poetry magic cube competition, situational poetic appreciation and the title race, the graduate Li Haochen, a graduate student from the School of Chinese Language and Literature of CCNU won the championship while Huang Jingyuan from Jilin University and Zeng Huilin from Huazhong Agricultural University won the second and the third place respectively.
