More resources could be conserved and efficiently used. For instance, saving water can not only alleviate the pressure caused by water shortage, but also reduce the sewage discharge to protect freshwater.

We could have a precise command of our property. We make rational choice instead of impulsive consumption, and clear up to leave space for stuff you need, through which happiness could be enhanced since everything is under your control!

Landfill is not the only home for things you don't want. There are still a large number of people who couldn't afford food and clothes. Things like old clothes we donate are sent to underdeveloped areas. Plastics and metal can be used for recycling and reproduction. Waste can be given a second even third or fourth life just because of your benevolence.
