Gabon is a country on the west coast of Central Africa, it borders Equatorial Guinea to the northwest, Cameroon to the north, the Republic of the Congo to the east and south, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west.

加蓬位于中非西海岸的国家，西北与赤道几内亚接壤，北接喀麦隆，东和南与刚果共和国交界，西与大西洋接壤。

The population of Gabon as of 2018 estimates is 2,119,036. The official language of Gabon is French, local languages such as Fang, Myene, Nzebi, Bapounou/Eschira, Bandjabi are also used.

截至2018年，加蓬人口估计为两百一十一万九千零三十六人。加蓬的官方语言是法语，也使用当地语言，如方、迈恩、Nzebi、Bapounou/Eschira、Bandjabi。

The national flag of Gabon consists of three horizontal bands of green, yellow and blue. Green and yellow represents the country’s forests and natural resources, and blue represents the sea.

加蓬国旗由绿色、黄色和蓝色三个水平条纹组成。绿色和黄色代表国家的森林和自然资源，蓝色代表海洋。

Black Panther is the national animal of Gabon. The national anthem of Gabon is “La Concorde” which means “The Concorde.”

Gabon has nine provinces and they are Estuaire, Haut-Ogooué, Moyen-Ogooué, Ngounié, Nyanga, Ogooué-Ivindo, Ogooué-Lolo, Ogooué-Maritime, and Woleu-Ntem.

加蓬有九个省，分别是Estuaire, Haut-Ogooué, Moyen-Ogooué,  Ngounié, Nyanga, Ogooué-Ivindo, Ogooué-Lolo, Ogooué-Maritime, and Woleu-Ntem。

Libreville is the capital city of Gabon. It is where most of the principal administrative and commercial buildings are situated. Roughly, a third of Gabon’s inhabitants live in this city. The National Museum, the Presidential Palace, and the Museum of Arts and Traditions of Gabon are all found in this city.

利伯维尔是加蓬的首都。它是主要行政和商业建筑的所在地。大约三分之一的加蓬居民住在这个城市。国家博物馆、总统府和加蓬艺术和传统博物馆都在这里。

Gabon is also known as the last Eden on Earth, white sandy beaches, dense jungles, rivers, and beautiful landscapes can be found in abundance in this country. 13 national parks were created to preserve the natural environment. Gabonis also the most tourist-friendly country in the region.

加蓬也被称为地球上的最后一个伊甸园，白色的沙滩，茂密的丛林，河流，美丽的风景在这个国家随处可见。为了保护这个国家的自然环境，加蓬政府创建了13个国家公园。加蓬也是该地区对游客们最好友的国家。

Other attractions include Bateke and Mayumba, Presidential Palace, Beaches, Mount Bouet Market, National Museum, Lope National Park, Loango National Park, Pongara National Park, Fernan Vaz Lagoon, Ivindo National Park, etc.

Oil revenues contribute to about 46% of the government budget, primary materials are also abundant. Logging, manganese mining is also the main source of income for the country. The country is also home to the world’s largest unexploited iron ore deposit.

石油收入约占政府预算的46%，原材料也很丰富。伐木、锰矿也是这个国家的主要收入来源。该国还拥有世界上最大的未开发铁矿床。

Tourism also contributes to the economy and is expected to grow in the coming years.

 Culture 文化 

Gabon is rich in folklore and mythology. The Gabonese masks such as the n’goltang (Fang) and their liquary figures of the Kota are the most internationally celebrated masks. Even though the Gabonese music is not very famous on the world stage, singers like Oliver N’Goma have made great impact to shape the music.
