Cameroon is a country in Africa, it is bordered by Nigeria to the west, Chad to the northeast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and the Republic of the Congo to the south, and Central African Republic to the east. French and English are the official languages of Cameroon. The capital city of Cameroon is Yaoundé. The largest city of Cameroon is Douala.

喀麦隆是个非洲国家，西边与尼日利亚交界，东北接乍得，南与加蓬，刚果布，赤道几内亚交界，东接中非。喀麦隆的官方语言有英语和法语，首都是雅温得，杜阿拉则是喀麦隆最大城市。

National Anthem 国歌

The national anthem of Cameroon is "Chant de Ralliement", which means "The Rallying Song" in English.

喀麦隆的国歌是Chant de Ralliement，意思是“集会之歌”。

The population of Cameroon is around 23.5 million. It is also known as the "Africa in Miniature" due to its geological and cultural diversity.

喀麦隆的人口大概是两千三百五十万人左右。因于其地质和文化的多样性，喀麦隆又被称为“非洲的缩影”。

The National Flag 国旗

Cameroon's flag features three vertical stripes, green, red, and yellow respectively, and a 5-pointed yellow star in the center. Red represents Unity, the yellow star is referred to as the star of unity, yellow represents the sun and green represents the forests.

喀麦隆国旗有三条绿红黄平行条纹，中间有一颗黄色五角星。黄色五角星和红色条纹代表团结，黄色代表太阳，绿色代表森林。

Currency 货币

The official currency of Cameroon is the Central African CFA franc which is also used in Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon.

喀麦隆的官方货币是中非CFA法郎，中非共和国、乍得、刚果共和国、赤道几内亚和加蓬也使用中非CFA法郎。

Natural Resources自然资源

Natural resources in Cameroon are timber, gemstones, oil, gas, phosphate, iron ore, manganese, nepheline, syenite, rutile, nickel, granite, gold, cobalt, bauxite etc.

喀麦隆的自然资源有木材、宝石、石油、天然气、磷酸盐、铁矿石、锰、霞石、正长岩、金红石、镍、花岗岩、黄金、钴、铝土矿等。

Yaoundé 雅温得

Yaoundé is the capital city of Cameroon, it is built over seven hills. The 1970s government buildings are one of the main points of interest due to their uniqueness.

雅温得是喀麦隆的首都，它建在七座山上。70年代的政府建筑因其独特性而成为人们关注的焦点之一。

Douala 杜阿拉

Douala is the largest and major city in Cameroon, the biggest airport in the country is in this city. In addition, its port and business center are also the main ones in the country.

杜阿拉是喀麦隆最大和主要城市，拥有全国最大的机场。此外，其港口和商务中心也在该国据有重要地位。

Attractions 景点

Mount Cameroon is an active volcano that is also known as Mongo ma Ndemi ("Mountain of Greatness") by its indigenous name. Its highest peak stands at 4095 meters above sea level.

喀麦隆山是一个活火山，其土著的名字称为 Mongo ma Ndemi（“伟大的山”），其最高峰海拔4095米。

Limbe 林贝

Limbe is a touristic city found by the seaside in the South West region of Cameroon. As you enter the city you will be greeted by the words "A Town of Friendship." You can visit the botanical garden and the zoological garden which is used for the conservation of endangered species.

林贝是位于喀麦隆西南的一座旅游城市。进入这座城市时，你会看到“友谊之城”的字样。在这里你可以参观植物园和用于保护濒危物种的动物园。

You can also check out the black sandy beaches on the Atlantic Ocean. If you love history you will also get a chance to see buildings from the period of German colonial rule.

Kribi 克里比

Kribi is the home to the country's best beaches with very clear water. The Kribi deep-water port built by China Harbor Engineering Corporation (CHEC) is in this city.

克里比有着最好的海滩和非常清澈的海水。中国港湾工程有限责任公司（CHEC）建造的克里比深水港就在这座城市。

Cameroon has many National parks, but the most popular one is the Waza National Park. It is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and is home to lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, gazelles, warthogs, hippos etc.

喀麦隆有许多国家公园，但最受欢迎的是瓦扎国家公园。瓦扎国家公园是联合国教科文组织生物圈保护区。公园的动物包括狮子、大象、长颈鹿、猎豹、瞪羚、野猪、河马等。
