Tunisia is a country in North Africa, bordered by Libya to the southeast, Algeria to the west and southwest, and the Mediterranean Sea to the North and East. The capital and largest city of Tunisia is Tunis.
突尼斯位于北非，东南接利比亚，西和西南接阿尔及利亚，北和东濒临地中海。突尼斯的首都及最大城市是突尼斯。

Sfax is one of Tunisia‘s major commercial centers and the second populous city. Places to explore here include a beautiful walled Medina, unique architecture of Matmata, as well as the Kerkennah Islands.

Sousse is the third most populated city in Tunisia. It is along the Mediterranean about 7miles south of Tunis. The city has some of the well-preserved sea-facing forts which attract most of the tourism activities in the city.

Bulla Regia which is near Tabarka is one such example, Romans built their villas here underground and so they are still well preserved, it is a unique opportunity for history lovers to get a glimpse of the residential life of the ancient world.

This well-preserved Roman relic is the major sightseeing place in Tunisia and serves as one of the best examples of amphitheater architectures in the world. One can still walk the corridors under the arena, just like the gladiators did, or climb up to the seating tiers and stare across the arena imagining the battles that took place in the arena.

Visitors enjoy riding dune buggies and camel trecks, without forgetting sitting atop sand mountains and watching the sunset over the Sahara.

Tunisian culture is rich and diverse with mix of peoples from the indigenous Berbers to Roman, Arabic and Turkish influence. About ninety-eight percent of the people are Muslim.

The International Festival of the Sahara is an annual festival held in Douz, Tunisia. It is a celebration of arts and traditions of North Africa. There are many performances during this festival such as horse races, camel fights, etc.
