Jordan is an Arab country in Western Asia. It borders Saudi Arabia to the south and east, Iraq to the north east, Syria to the north, and Israel and Palestine to the west. The capital city of Jordan is Amman and the official language of Jordan is Arabic.
约旦是西亚的一个阿拉伯国家。南部和东部接沙特阿拉伯，东北部与伊拉克接壤，北部接叙利亚，西部与以色列和巴勒斯坦交界。约旦首都是安曼，约旦的官方语言是阿拉伯语。
National Flag 国旗
The flag of Jordan has three horizontal stripes from the top to bottom, black, white, and green, a red chevron with its base at the hoist side, and white seven-pointed star at the center of the red chevron.
约旦国旗从上到下有三条横条纹，分别是黑、白、绿，一个底座在升降侧的红色三角形，还有白色的七角星在红色三角形的中心。
National Anthem 国歌
The national anthem of Jordan is “Long live the King.”
约旦的国歌是 “国王万岁”。
Currency 货币
The currency used in Jordan is Jordanian Dinar.
约旦使用的货币是约旦第纳尔。
National Dress 国服
Jordanian dress is generally conservative, particularly for women. They are not allowed to wear tight clothes, sleeveless blouses, shorts, short skirts, or low-cut backs on shirts or dresses.
约旦的服装通常是保守的，特别是对女性来说。他们不允许穿紧身衣、无袖上衣、短裤、短裙或低胸衬衫或连衣裙。
National Sports 国家运动
Football and Basketball are considered to be the national sport of Jordan. Camel and horse ridings are at the same time very demanding in Jordan. In the beginning of 1950, car racing became a weekend game which engaged many citizens.

Amman is the capital city of Jordan and is a central crossing point of and the birthplace of several great civilizations. The city is a major tourist attraction with ancient and classical remains and museums with a profound historical coverage.

Zarqa 扎尔卡
Zarqa is the second most populous city in Jordan. The city was established by Chechen in the first century. Zarqa then served as a residential and military town. The city has an industrial area with more than half of the industries in Jordan. Industries include agricultural, garment, leather, pharmaceutical, oil refinery, etc.

Irbid 伊尔比德
Irbid is the third most populous city in Jordan. It is a historical town with architecture from the ancient times and a number of archaeological sites. Crops grown in the city include citrus fruits, olives and grain and animals such as honey bees and livestock. Irbid is also a trading center, a cultural center, and a sports center.
伊尔比德是约旦第三大城市。它是一座历史悠久的城镇，有许多古代建筑和考古遗址。该市的农作物包括柑橘类水果、橄榄和谷物以及蜜蜂和牲畜等动物。伊尔比德也是一个贸易、文化和体育中心。

This is a desert reserve in the southern part of Jordan, it is often called the Valley of the Moon. Wadi Rum is known for its red pink sands, natural arches and mountains, and prehistoric rock engravings. It has featured in movies such as Lawrence of Arabia and the Martian.

The ancient city of Jerash has a number of Roman attractions. Among them, Colonnaded Street serves as the most known and celebrated.

Ajlun Castle 阿杰伦城堡
Ajlun is the city of natural and historical fusion, where its historical fortress and its rare wildlife can be appreciated. Ajlun Castle is at a giant hilltop, which back in the day took benefit of its position as protector of the commercial trade routes passing by to Syria.

The Dead Sea is known for its highly salty waters, you will float easily without the fear of drowning or attempts to swim. Visitors of both local and international nationalities seek the Dead Sea for its mineral-rich mud, known for its therapeutic and cosmetic miracles. This mud is being sold for mind-blowing prices among exported goods.

Mount Nebo 尼波山
Mentioned in ancient religious tradition as the mountain from which Moses saw the Promised Land, Mount Nebo is an elevated ridge from Madaba city.

Roman Theater 罗马剧院
Roman Theater is the most famous landmark in Amman. It is a 6000-seat theater that was built by the Romans in the 2nd century.

Ma’in Hot Springs 玛伊妮温泉
Ma’in Hot Springs is between Madaba and the Dead Sea. Here there are hot, mineral waters and the breeze of nature.

Al-Maghtas 阿麦格塔斯
Al-Maghtas means the “place of Baptism,” it is a place that it believed that Jesus Christ was baptized at. The site is known as “Bethany Beyond the Jordan,” and it is a yearly gathering of Christians during their pilgrimage season.
