China Announces Int'l Flight Plan to Help Overseas Students

According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China on Tuesday, China’s civil aviation sector is implementing the steady and orderly resumption of scheduled international passenger flights in an effort to speed up the recovery of the global aviation market, which has been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The administration is working under the coordination of the State Council’s joint prevention and control mechanism to carry out the resumption of flights in order to meet the needs of students and participants in international exchange programmes who must return to their home countries, according to Xu Qing, deputy director of the administration’s Department of Transportation.
Xu claims that the project also takes into account the shifting pandemic scenario, the improvement of present preventative and epidemic control efforts, and the bolstering of The ability of local regions to receive foreign aircraft.
