缘起于2004年的北京大学国际文化节如今已走进第16个年头，今年第十六届国际文化节的主题是“世界无界，未来已来”，期望与来自世界各地的莘莘学子一道，让北大校园继续绽放新鲜活力。和国际文化节一起，我们也迎来了北京大学青年论坛（2019）。

作为国际文化节的重要组成和亮点之一，论坛届时将邀请各国家大使、国际组织官员、各国家学生、相关专家学者等，围绕论坛主题“智造领航，青年力量”发言与探讨，给来自多元文化背景的优秀青年学子带来思想碰撞、观念互动的机会。

分议题

1.青年应如何为新技术革命注入活力

2.青年应如何应对高新科技带来的生活方式转型

3.青年应如何认识科技发展在伦理道德、法制建设等方面带来的新挑战和新问题

4.青年应如何看待新能源、新材料不断涌现后的生态文明建设

5.青年学者应如何面对新技术革命对传统理论中理性、审美等范畴的冲击

全校范围内招募120名青年代表。

招募要求

1.本次会议官方语言为英语。

2.发言和圆桌论坛议题应与“智造”、“青年”相关，但不局限于以上提及的分议题，欢迎大家提供更多创新主题。

“Innovation - the Power of Youth”

Peking University Youth Forum 2019

Peking University first held its International Culture Festival in 2004, and has continued the tradition since then. This year's International Culture Festival is themed “A World Without Boarders | The Future Is Now”, and it encompasses the hope that students and friends from every corner of the globe can come together at PKU to learn more about the world and share their culture.

As part of the International Culture Festival, Peking University Youth Forum 2019 will invite ambassadors, officers of international organizations, experts, scholars, and youth delegates to give keynote speeches and discuss this year’s theme “Innovation - the Power of Youth”. The forum aims to offer opportunities for young people from different cultural backgrounds to communicate with each other, share ideas, and create a platform for youths, scholars, and officials to make progress together.

Theme:

 “Innovation - the Power of Youth”

Subtopics of Panel Discussions:

1. Energizing the new technological revolution

2. Dealing with the lifestyle transformation brought by high-tech

3. Understanding the new challenges and new problems brought by the development of technology on ethic and legal construction

4. Treating the construction of ecological civilization after the emergence of new energy and new materials

5. Responding to the impact of the new technological revolution on the rational and aesthetic aspect in traditional theories

Recruiting:

120 youth delegates from Peking University

Requirements:

1.The official language of the forum is English

2.Relevant to the theme of “Innovation” and “Youth”

(Topics are not limited to the above mentioned, and new topics are encouraged)

Agenda:

1.Keynote speech by ambassadors and professors

2.Panel discussion, along with questions and answers

3.Speech by student delegates
