A government spend money on all adults after 25-year-old on a training course for the most up-to-date skills at workplace. Do you think it is effective? Why or why not?

题目解析

该题是本年度到目前为止，关于“政府政策”的第三次考题。之前的两次考题如下，我们稍作回顾：

It is a waste of money for government’s fund to space travel or space exploration.

2018.01.28：

The government wants to make investment to improve education. Which one of the following investments do you think is the best?

a) To hire more teachers to teach in small class

b) Preschool education before kindergarten

c) To provide some training courses so that teachers can be more professional 

“政府政策”类问题的题干中经常会涉及到的信息有：

文化culture，比如historical buildings；

环境保护environment protection；

公共服务public service（比如教育education，医疗health care）；

社会基础设施 social infrastructure（比如网络与公共交通internet access, public transportation）；

科研scientific research 艺术arts

各位同学在平时备考时，针对此类话题，可以注意“词以类记”和“素材积累” ,以便后期此类型的话题时有话可说。

对于政府政策类话题，思考理由的时候可以从“个人”和“社会”两个方向着手；换句话说，“个人角度”即为政府作为能否满足人们的某些需求，“社会角度”即为政府作为是否可以带动社会某些方面的更好发展，比如:

It is more important for the government to build new housing than preserve old and historical buildings. 

选择：preserve the old and historical buildings

个人角度——the old and historical buildings are always good places for us to visit in our spare time, especially when we want to have a rest after working tediously for a long time

社会角度——preserving the heritage can help to raise the level of a city’s economy and promote a city’s reputation. Precisely, if the old and historical buildings are preserved, the city will possess more tourist attractions, naturally attracting more visitors or other relevant investment

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? 

The government should spend money helping more people access the Internet instead of improving public transportation. 

选择：spend money improving public transportation

个人角度——Improving public transportation facilitates citizens’ traveling, thus bringing too much convenience to people’s daily lives.

社会角度——The environment can be better preserved to some extent if the government spends money on improving public transportation

那么利用该找寻理由的方法，针对11.4日的考题，理由如下：

个人角度：Governmental investment in the training course for adults after 25-year-old to learn skills at workplace conspicuously contributes to their personal development, which will definitely help them to achieve higher positions at workplace.

社会角度：If adults at the age of 25 or more are provided with the training courses to learn the newest skills at workplace, the economic and technological development of the country can also be better boosted.
