习近平总书记指出：“我们始终坚定人民立场，强调消除贫困、改善民生、实现共同富裕是社会主义的本质要求，是我们党坚持全心全意为人民服务根本宗旨的重要体现，是党和政府的重大责任。” “十四五”规划和2035年远景目标纲要明确提出：“人的全面发展、全体人民共同富裕取得更为明显的实质性进展。” 那如何全面、准确理解共同富裕？怎么才能更好实现共同富裕？10月12日起，人民日报《人民论坛》栏目推出5篇系列评论。我们在此基础上进行相关说法的英文解析。
小编：Common prosperity should not be the simple way of getting prosperity simultaneously in all places, due to differences between regions, urban and rural areas and individuals. People living in different regions and working in different sectors might reach common prosperity in different time periods due to existing gaps. 共同富裕也不是同等富裕，不能要求不同区域、不同人群都达到全国一致的收入和生活水平；小编：Common prosperity does not mean the same level of prosperity. 既要家家“仓廪实衣足食”，实现物质生活水平提高，也要人人“知礼节明荣辱”，实现精神文化生活丰富，最终促进人的全面发展和社会全面进步；
小编：“仓廪实而知礼节、衣食足而知荣辱”，出自《史记·管晏列传》，意思是：百姓的粮食充足，才会懂得礼仪，穿的吃的都很丰富充足，才会知道荣誉和耻辱。字面翻译即：When the granaries are full, the people follow appropriate rules of conduct; when one is adequately fed and clothed，one can have a sense of honor and shame. Common prosperity is intended for the all-round development of people and society.
物质富裕是精神富足的基础，能够为精神文明建设提供物质条件；更高水平的精神文明建设，可以为物质文明建设提供精神动力。
小编：这句话讲的是物质和精神的双向共生关系：Material wealth, as the foundation of cultural-ethical wealth, helps raise cultural-ethical standards, which in turn, sustain the material wealth.
由于我国地区之间资源禀赋和发展基础不同，共同富裕不能整齐划一、齐头并进，而要循序渐进分阶段促进；
