加拿大紧急救援补助金
“加拿大紧急救援补助金CERB(Canada EmergencyResponse Benefit)”提供临时的收入支持,以帮助因COVID-19疫情之相关原因而停止工作、并失去了就业或自雇收入的工作人士。
加拿大紧急救援补助金取代政府于2020年3月18日宣布的“紧急护理补贴(Emergency Care Benefit)”和“紧急支持补贴Emergency Support Benefit”。
资格条件:CERB将向以下工作人士开放:
居住在加拿大,至少15岁以上;
因为COVID-19疫情而停止工作的人士;
在2019年或在申请之日前的12个月内,收入至少有5,000元的人;
在最初的四个星期内连续至少14天内,没有或预期没有就业或自雇收入的人士。对于随后的补助期内,预期他们没有就业收入。
此项补助也适用于3月15日之后有资格获得就业保险中的常规或病假补助的人士。
至少5,000元的收入可以来自以下任何一个或多个来源:就业、自雇就业、就业保险计划下的产妇和父母津贴,以及/或魁北克父母保险计划规定之在魁北克支付的类似津贴。
此项补助仅适用于因与COVID-19疫情相关的原因而停止工作的个人。如果您未因COVID-19而停止工作,则没有资格获得此补贴。
申请流程
CERB的申请将从2020年4月6日起在Canada.ca/coronavirus开放。
申请者将被问到一些简单的问题,以帮助引导他们选择以下两种服务选项之一:
通常情况下有资格获得EI福利的加拿大人,将被指引到加拿大服务局Service Canada,通过Appliweb 申请CERB;

金额

CanadaEmergency Response Benefit
TheCanada Emergency Response Benefit provides temporary emergency income supportto workers who have stopped working and are without employment orself-employment income for reasons related to COVID-19.
The Canada Emergency Response Benefit replaces the Emergency Care Benefit andthe Emergency Support Benefit announced on March 18, 2020.
Eligibility
The CERB will be available to workers:
· residing in Canada, who are at least 15 years old;
· who have stopped working because of COVID-19;
· who had income of at least $5,000 in 2019 or in the 12 monthsprior to the date of their application; and
· who are or expect to be without employment or self-employmentincome for at least 14 consecutive days in the initial four-week period. For subsequent benefit periods, they expect to have no employment income.
The Benefit is also available to workers who, after March 15, are eligible forEmployment Insurance regular or sickness benefits.
The income of at least $5,000 may be from any or a combination of the followingsources: employment; self-employment; maternity and parental benefits under theEmployment Insurance program and/or similar benefits paid in Quebec under theQuebec Parental Insurance Plan.
The Benefit is only available to individuals who stopped work as a result ofreasons related to COVID-19. If you have not stopped working because ofCOVID-19, you are not eligible for the Benefit.
Application process
· Applications for the CERB will open on April 6, 2020 atCanada.ca/coronavirus.
Applicantswill be asked simple questions that help direct them to one of two serviceoptions:
· Canadians who would generally be eligible for EI benefits willbe directed to apply for the CERB through Service Canada through Appliweb;or
· Canadians who would generally not be eligible for EI benefitswill be directed to apply for the CERB through the CRA’s MyAccount orCRA’s automated toll-free line at 1-800-959-2019.
Canadians calling the toll-free line at 1-800-959-2019 will be connected to theCRA’s automated telephone system. This is a dedicated line for CERBapplications.
Applicants will need to affirm that they meet the eligibility criteria andinformation that individuals provide during the application process may beverified at a later time.
The benefit is available from March 15, 2020, to October 3, 2020. You can applyno later than December 2, 2020.
Applying online
Canadians can get ready to apply for the CERB by signing up to My Account or MyService Canada Account. They should also make sure their direct deposit andmailing information is up to date with the CRA.
Amount
The CERB will be paid in blocks of four weeks in the amount of $2,000, which isequivalent to $500 per week. If an individual’s situation continues, theycan re-apply for a payment for multiple 4-week periods, to a maximum of 16weeks (4 periods).
Processing time
Once the application process opens as of April 6, 2020, Canadians can expect toreceive payments within three to five business days through direct deposit orwithin 10 business days by cheque.
