Modern Drama was founded in 1958 and is the most prominent journal in English to focus on dramatic literature. The terms "modern" and "drama" are the subject of continuing and fruitful debate, but the journal has been distinguished by the excellence of its close readings of both canonical and lesser-known dramatic texts from a range of methodological perspectives. The journal features refereed articles written from a variety of geo-political points of view which enhance our understanding, both formal and historical, of the dramatic literature of the past two centuries; there is also an extensive book review section.

Please prepare your submission as a .doc or .docx file. Make sure to include the title, works cited, and article abstract in this same document. Submissions considered for publication will be blind vetted by two readers in the field and therefore should be submitted with no identifying information. Please ensure, in particular, that you remove your details from the document’s “Properties” (found under the “File” tab). Please include your name and address in the body of the email only.

Submissions should include all appropriate documentation and conform to the most recent edition of the MLA Handbook. They should be double-spaced, including Notes and Works Cited, and should not normally exceed 9000 words. 

要点：不超过9000单词；将被两名同领域专家盲审；论文以附件形式提交；附件文档须用doc/ docx格式文件；附件文档中需要包含题目、引用文献和摘要，但要省去个人信息；个人信息包含在邮件正文中。
